Philip........this is what they have been doing in the shadows for a long time but in the open in the past two years.

I think that the far left ideologues saw a wide open opportunity, an economy that was teetering on the brink of collapse, an unpopular war and a president and party that had been effectively villified by the media. the time was perfect to present a young, attractive, well spoken man who promised "HOPE and CHANGE" [although he never defined the meanings of those words].

This young, attractive "CLEAN" man was a refreshing change from the inside the beltway polititians we had grown so fatigued by. The Republicans nominated an old 'war horse', John McCain, media 'darling, middle of the road, Republican....................a Republican who could [and DID] reach across the aisle in the spirit of Bipartisanship and "work with the 'other side' to get things accomplished for the American People"...... GAG ME WITH A SPOON!!!!!!! [to coin an old phrase]. John McCain is the guy who penned, McCain/Feingold [even got top billing!] which gave almost infinite power in the realm of influencing elections to none other than our dear old friend GEORGE SOROS!!!!!!!!! Soros owned BOTH of them!

But McCain threw a proverbial 'monkey wrench' into the works when he selected Sarah Palin as his running mate. When Sarah took the podium at the Republican Convention in 2008, she was pretty much unknown, she was attractive, she was young, she was the mother of five, and the Governor of Alaska and when her teleprompter went dark a few minutes into her acceptance speech.....she simply continued with the prepared speech. The country loved her and the media loathed her because they were scared to death of her.

My point here is this. The thing that makes this the greatest country in the history of this earth is Her Constitution, a document concieved by incredibly wise men who were able to see well into the future of this country. This document is not complicated as some media types would have you believe. It was written to be understood by both scholars and farmers and everyone in between.

The First Ammendment assures the freedom of speech......that means ALL speech, even that speech with which we disagree. The major point here is that people are taught the difference between different types of government........truthfully. They need to know and understand why they worked or why they failed so that when another group rises up to propose a form of government that has been tried and failed [SEVERAL TIMES the world over] they can make an educated CHOICE as to which path they wish to follow.

Socialism & Communism always SOUND like such good and fair ideas but they never work out that way............neither of those forms of government serves to ELEVATE its citizenry, they only serve to LOWER the people to an 'equal', miserable, level, leaving a select group of 'Elites" to enjoy the profits of the labor of others.

Free speech works both ways but it is most important that we understand the messages coming to us from both sides brfore following blindly.

Today's philosophical parallel between democrats and communists is an almost permanently fixed ideology.

We citizens recognize it and seem NOT to be concerned except for a percentage of constitutional conservatives.

How can the communists have succeeded in disarming us while they took command of an entire political party?

THAT takes some careful planning and excellent execution.

In this last week our congress has been preparing to sign an agreement (START) with Russia which will disarm us, but not the Russians to the same degree. This is a democrat bill with RINO republicans signing on. How can this be happening and with almost NO details of the  agreement being played out in the media for "WE the People" to see. How can this BE???
