"Can a Hoosier farmer produce another Massachusetts
miracle for Republicans?" - Ken Tomlinson

That was the question Ken Tomlinson asked in a recent OPED in the Washington Examiner. Many around the country are starting to watch the
Senate race in Indiana realizing another "Scott Brown" victory is
possible. Hoosiers are famous for their love of basketball, their deep
farming roots and their hometown values. But there's something going on in
Indiana this year that is surprisingly new and unique; especially for the
Hoosier state. It's a quiet revolution of ideas and action that is taking

motor-coach, campaigning with his young family across the state against
Senator Evan Bayh, decrying the Obama administration's agenda and
declaring, "We need to change Washington, Not America!" For over a year
now Marlin Stutzman has traveled over 21,000 miles across Indiana
listening to Hoosiers and witnessing the revolution of action taking place

Stutzman saw a year ago, what most Americans see now; that this aggressive, oppressive agenda in Washington under the leadership of Obama, Pelosi and Reed, will destroy our economy and cripple our free enterprise system.
During his service as a State Legislator from 2002 - 2010, Marlin Stutzman led the fight to take Indiana from a $1 billion deficit in 2002, to a fully balanced budget in 2010 without raising taxes. He was a key part of the leadership team which helped to cut bureaucracy spending 20% across the board, did away with the free lifetime healthcare benefits and 4-1 pension match that legislators had given themselves before his arrival, and voted to permanently cap Property Taxes in Indiana. All of this fiscal housecleaning was done during very lean economic times, while Stutzman served in both the majority and the minority. As a farmer, small business owner and legislator, Marlin Stutzman would be a rare breed in the US Senate.
He worked part-time for his own Congressman for two years on federal issues and was one of the leaders who helped Governor Mitch Daniels forge Indiana into an unlikely success story, when states surrounding Indiana were falling into bankruptcy. Stutzman is quite a contrast to Dan Coats; a fourth generation farmer, a full spectrum proven conservative who believes in the timeless principles of less government and respect for the Constitution.
