REAL CONSERVATIVES

In advance....

By now, every REAL CONSERVATIVES Member should be aware of the Ning situation.

There just wasn’t enough Member support to sustain this site, at least through Election Day. Hence, August 20 may be the last day of operation of REAL CONSERVATIVES.

52 Members out of 352 answered the July Member Census. All said that they wanted REAL CONSERVATIVES to continue operating at least until Election day, 2010.

Yet, less than 5% of the Members sent any financial support.

The Majority of you, in silence, have spoken.

To those non-contributing Members: Times will get better. Our Founding Fathers gave us the means to change our lot in life for the better, every two years, with staggered elections. Your votes alone will change history!

I tried, as best as I knew how, to provide you with a repository of Conservative Values, and to encourage you to turn out, massively, on November 2, 2010-Election Day.

Was it worthwhile? We may never know.

My prayer is that you not forget your civic duty on that day, ...it is truly the "Only Day That Matters".

I have enjoyed this site so much, but we are paying off debt from my husband being without a job for 21 mths, honestly, we just don't have the extra money, we are determined to pay this debt off ourselves, so I had to make a choice, give money to this site or to my church and I decided that it should go to my church. I just wanted you to know that I truly enjoyed the information on here and I will definitely miss this site but times are hard for everyone and everyone is having to make choices right now but thank you so much for what you did with this site!

Uncle Sam, Real Conservatives has been such a positive influence on so many and it saddens me to see your need to let it go. I have to believe that your lack of response and adequate donations is not from apathy of the members but that with the economy and rising unemployment, even a $5 or $10 donation is difficult for people to manage and their time for internet response is so limited due to time pressures of additional jobs, etc.
Perhaps this is wishful thinking but perhaps you could continue later on another web server as a couple of other conservative websites have. Goodbye..

[Freedom Is Not Free]

Thank you for all you have been done for the cause, and what you will keep doing as well. I don't work just take care my grand kids, other wise God's know that this site will be support by me, as been one of the best one if not the best in the internet. The ride was bumping at times, but I grow to admire your work and what you represent.
