I went to the "monstrosity site" and tried to make heads and tails out of it. I spent about an hour trying to find out how much it's going to cost a person to get coverage.
The prices of plans aren't available until the signup date October 1 2013.
The prices vary from state to state.
The "marketplace" (US government) will subsidize (provide free insurance) for those under a certain income and who may qualify for certain "exemptions".
You can ask for an exemption. There is a long list of exemptions favoring liberal progressive democrats. I didn't find the part that covers Illegal aliens. I'm sure that they have that coverage buried somewhere in the multitude of cross-references.
