PRAYER FOR OUR NATION

Father, we come before you and humbly ask that you forgive us of our sins and that you forgive us as a people for turning our backs on you over the years and allowing our lights to slowly grow dim and allowing darkness to cover our land.

We have fallen short, the Church has grown lazy and selfish. We weren't praying and fighting for righteous and holiness sake but, we're more concerned with our own worldly gains. For this we are paying the price but yet Father, many of us still point our fingers at others and try and put the blame elsewhere. Your Word said in Matthew, "You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother's eye".

I pray Father that we come to your Call in 2 Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

It is not your Will Father that you destroy this land but our will when we do not do as you have required of us. Father, time is nothing for you, the days are numbered but you are the one that does the numbers and controls time. This Nation can be saved and restored if we do what is pleasing in your sight.

Father, I pray for your Grace to instill upon each believer in Christ Jesus to repent and do as you require so that you may heal our land in Jesus precious name, Amen.

To God be the Glory, Honor and Power for ever and ever, Amen.

I like that passage you quoted also Annette. It is so very true. The word of God is perfect and needs nothing else. Here is a very favorite one of mine-

I didn't quote it exactly, but was tired and didn't look it up either! It's hard to pinpoint all of my favorites, and I have so many! Phil 4:19 comes to mind. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." I ended up with a rental I could not continue to afford, (it was very sudden), had barely $500 in my bank, and needing to move. There was no staying where I was. I had been to look at a mobile home for $450 a mo. and I wouldn't have put a dog in it, so I stopped at the church in Granbury, TX and talked to the counsellor there who said he would see if he could find someone I could stay with temporarily. I left the church and was on my way back to tell the lanlord I would not be renting the mobile home when he called me and asked me to come back up. Long story short, he offered me a much nicer place (very nice in fact) rent free and I lived there rent free for a full year! I asked the counsellor if he had anything to do with it, and he said 'no', and I don't know how he could have because he wouldn't even have had time to call the landlord, much less make any arrangements! No one can ever tell me God does not supply ALL your needs!

I have a deep belief that you must have earned a break in God's eyes. I have had more than one religion in my lifetime, am still a little confused about what our Lord wants from me, but I have no doubt in DIvine Providence.

Dear Lord God, Father,

Bless all the members of this website. Strengthen and help each one in their time of need. Lighten their burden and fill their life with your peace. Continue to lead, guide and direct them by your Holy Spirit. Increase their faith and encourage them when they get weary fighting the good fight daily. Surround them, their family and those they love with your guarding angels. Watch over, protect and keep all healthy, safe and sound in the fierce struggle with the adversary.

Be vigilant. Be protected by the full armor of God.

Ephesians 6:13-18

The devil roams the earth looking for Christians with a chink in their armor. His focus is not on sinners. He already owns them. They're spiritually asleep to Jesus Christ. The devil as a roaming lion seeks to devour the Christian. We must be ever watchful and ready for the hour of our Lord’s return.

We have God’s indwelling Holy Spirit to teach and guide us. We must live godly lives in obedience to His Word. There's no excuse for being unprepared.

God loved us enough to provide the way to escape His judgment. That way is Christ Jesus. By accepting His only Son as our Lord and Savior, and by His merciful grace, we are granted forgiveness of our sins, salvation and the promise of (everlasting) AIONION or age-lasting life - in the Greek.

John 3:16

With our faith in Jesus Christ - and by standing on His Holy Word, we're prepared and shall rejoice at His return.
