On May 15, 2010 the combined Annual/Quarterly Report to Members was broadcasted by inter-site e-Mail, to the general Membership of this site, REAL CONSERVATIVES, and is attached hereto.

When Ning, the provider of the site medium, announced their corporate decision to phase out free sites such as this in favor of paying sites exclusively, the effort was made to inform all the Members of REAL CONSERVATIVES of this change, and appeals were broadcast for your minimal support, in the form of a one-time cash donation not to exceed twenty dollars.

The response to those appeals has been disappointing. In fact, there has been nothing sent, those appeals notwithstanding. I can only conclude that the 97 % of the Members who have not offered or sent any support prefer to lose availability of this site rather than to support it. It would not be fair to the Members who have already contributed to expect further contributions from them.

This policy has been stated on several occasions: ".. small contributions from the many are much more equitable than large contributions from the few". I have always maintained this site adhering to this principal, and have maintained the highest possible transparency while at the same time protecting my anonymity, for security reasons.

Based on the gross overall results since the founding of REAL CONSERVATIVES on April 15, 2009 I have concluded that the time may have come to dissolve this endeavor, due to lack of Member interest or adequate financial support. All of the well-intentioned suggestions received are appreciated, but the hard economic reality cannot be addressed with mere suggestions. When all is said and done, it is only cash that pays the bills.

Therefore, in the abscence of any meaningful financial support, REAL CONSERVATIVES will maintain operations only until such point in time that Ning chooses to terminate it. I have no idea when that may be, but according to their stated policy, it will probably be sometime in July. It will be there one day, ...then it will be gone. You will at least know what happened when that time comes.

The only hope is that enough of you will read this Advisory, understanding it’s implications, and act accordingly. The [DONATE] button will stay, with the opportunity to support this site, until the site is closed down by Ning. If a sufficient amount is timely received, this site will continue at least until Election Day, 2010.

Nevertheless, feel free to browse this site to copy and save any content you may value, in the time remaining.

Your comments, below, as to whether or not this site was of any value to the Conservative cause would be greatly appreciated.

Spruz is free up to 250 members and they have a Ning transfer files program that has just begun. i don'y know much about it but with it you can transfer your files and groups I gather with the content to your Pruz site. I wish they had that when I first joined them.

I do like and appreciate this site. But, am not able to check it every day. It's more like a couple times per week. I get too many other e-mails. I would be disappointed to see it go away. I gave a couple small donations. Like so many others...money is tight. I do appreciate all the hard work you have put into this wonderful site.

I can attest to the true fact the Uncle Sam is sincere and honest. As financially poor as I am, I managed to afford a one time donation $20. I told him would try and send more if/when I was able to, but he told me I'd been faithful and done enough. The present situation a shame and pity. God help us.

Michael, are you telling me that a one time donation of twenty dollars OR LESS is going to break you? Or any member? What's this site been worth to conservatives? Matter of fact, I wouldn't have known about YOUR project if Uncle Sam had not promoted it vigorously, along with other causes. I've told many others about your bhtp project, and they've told many others, and so on. So,
Why do you keep discouraging the members? As far as the "model" you refer to, sending cash by mail, etc, it worked for me. And, when my kids went to college it worked for them when Dad sent them money. Sure, Uncle's a litlle old-fashioned but isn't that part of the charm? Some things work, and have passed the test of time...like donating cash by mail. Nothing wrong with that "model"!

You guys need to do a reality check!!!
This is the best danged conservative site on the web. Its right to the point, and it supports many of the causes advanced by the members. Any fool can see the work it took to construct this site and to deliver this excellence to all the members. I've donated in the past without hesitation because I recognise its value. Its a shame that most people just want to be spectators, never supporting what they beleive in. It will be a shame if we lose this site because of that apathy. That's probably why BHO is in the White House. Apathy and indifference...until its too late!!! I dare you guys to show me I'm wrong.

The larger your bandwidth the more they will charge. For 20.95 you can go premium at Spruz and their support team is absolutely amazing. The site runs a bit slower and there are a few things to learn but they are making improvements and changes weekly. The support team alone is worth. Or go for the free package.

Don't let these progressives run you out of town. This battle is no different then all the other battles we face. If we give up this easily how will we deal with the real battles?
