CHAIRMAN MAO'bama meets with Palestinian President, Pledges $400 million in aid for Gaza

Pres. Obama announced an additional $400 million in aid to Gaza at a meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the White House. During the closed door meeting, the two leaders discussed the humanitarian issues arising from the recent conflict between the Israeli military and ships seeking travel to Gaza, as well as the progress of direct peace talks between the Israelis and Palestinians.

In other Middle East developments, the United Nations Security Council voted to impose additional sanctions on Iran.
