You Are The Greatest Reason I Cherish Liberty...

Good morning, America.

This Father’s Day I express my boundless love for all of you across America who call me “Pop” or any variation thereof- whether you are a blood relation or not. YOU are the greatest reason I cherish LIBERTY- and YOU are the reason I would make any sacrifice, even my life, to preserve that precious inalienable right to pursue your fondest dreams.

Nevertheless, this is not particularly a “happy day” for me- and likely not for millions of other American fathers.

As chaos, rioting and lawlessness continue to plague our nation, my heart aches as I recall the America where I grew up. The adults who surrounded me with love and security in that vanished world lived through deprivation of the Great Depression and the horror of World War Two. This morning I express my boundless love for them also- especially for my hero father and both of my grandfathers.

My immigrant FOREFATHERS, spanning a wide 250 year valley of time from 1630 to 1880, made every imaginable sacrifice to bestow upon me and my posterity the cherished label “Born in The USA.” I overflow with boundless love for them also.

Reaching far back in my childhood memories, I remember that the backdoors of our homes were often left unlocked at night. Attacking a police officer or contemptuously burning an American Flag was unthinkable. I also vividly remember that thieves descending on a natural disaster were warned without apology, “Looters Will Be Shot!”

And “horror of horrors,” my brother and I had a few black Brooklyn Dodgers as our beloved heroes. Yes, we grew up in Hunterdon County, New Jersey and were unaware of racial injustice elsewhere- but that was the innocent “world” we knew.

That perceived innocence came to a screeching halt on November 22, 1963…

In recent years there has been a concerted effort by leftist educators to treacherously rewrite American History to their liking- and to our severe disadvantage. That unpleasant reality cannot reasonably be challenged. Moreover, our history has also been corrupted by “official government lies” along the way.

And now, mob rule erupting across America, not content with rewriting our textbooks, is actively engaged in defacing or destroying every last public display of American history- even destroying that monument in Portland, Oregon celebrating George Washington, the Father of our country.

Yup. “Happy Father’s Day, America.”
