Good morning, America.

In years past, I have been quick to excuse Fox News for its dereliction of journalistic duty- but not this time. Tucker was the proverbial “straw that broke the camel’s back.” Actually, it was more like a half-ton of bricks dropped from thirty feet.

Yesterday, I watched the Trumpster’s show in Manchester, New Hampshire on NEWSMAX- and suddenly my “off and on” love affair with Fox seemed a distant memory.

Scottie Gordon expressed my feelings perfectly when he wrote, “I'll fight like I'm the third monkey running up the ramp of Noah's ark- and it's starting to rain.” Fox had thrown truth “under the bus” one too many times.

Tucker Carlson displayed incredible moral courage by exposing the truth about J6- boldly contradicting all the establishment lies. Ashli Babbitt must be pleased- and Tucker’s heroism is about the only justice she’s likely to receive. And yes, I was standing by the pond behind the Capitol when Ashli was brutally murdered. Close enough for me. I’m finished with Fox.

As for President Trump in New Hampshire, he relentlessly hammered Crooked Joe like a blacksmith hammering red-hot iron, and then plunging it in a tub of water, taking great pleasure in the rising cloud of steam. Donald refrained from mentioning his Republican opponents- most notably Governor DeSantis. Nor do I recall any mention of Robert Kennedy. Pure MAGA- nothing else.

Meanwhile, the Russians have been doing their utmost to reduce Ukraine to utter rubble. However, Rachel Bunyan of Daily Mail reported yesterday:

 

“Ukrainian secret service agents tried to assassinate Vladimir Putin with a kamikaze drone carrying explosives - but failed after it crashed a few miles short of their target, it has been claimed. The Ukrainian forces reportedly launched the UJ-22 drone, laden with 17 kilograms of C4 plastic explosives, from Ukraine on Sunday with the aim of reaching a newly built industrial estate near Moscow that Putin was due to visit, German newspaper Bild claims. But before the deadly drone reached the Rudnevo industrial park on its alleged mission to take out the Russian despot, it crashed mere miles away from the site.”

Most troubling to me in recent weeks, even more so than President Trump’s “Banana Republic” arraignment in Manhattan, is the following story about four Americans charged with “covertly sowing discord in US society,” among other related charges, which illustrates the outrageous level of bureaucratic hypocrisy abounding in Biden’s weaponized Department of Justice.

 

Curt Anderson of the Associated Press reported on April 18, 2023:

“ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) — Four Americans affiliated with a Black empowerment and political organization have been charged along with three Russians with conspiring to covertly sow discord in U.S. society, spread Russian propaganda and interfere illegally in U.S. elections, according to an indictment unsealed Tuesday.

The U.S. citizens and two Russians were added to an existing case in Tampa, Florida, federal court involving Aleksandr Ionov, described by prosecutors as the founder of a Moscow-based organization funded by the Russian government to carry out a clandestine influence campaign in the U.S.

The four Americans are all part of the African People’s Socialist Party and Uhuru Movement, which has locations in St. Petersburg, Florida, and St. Louis. Among those charged is Omali Yeshitela, chairman of the U.S.-based organization — which was raided by the FBI last summer when Ionov was originally charged.

‘Russia’s foreign intelligence service allegedly weaponized our First Amendment rights — freedoms Russia denies to its own citizens — to divide Americans and interfere in elections in the United States,’ said Assistant Attorney General Matthew Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division.

The department will not hesitate to expose and prosecute those who sow discord and corrupt U.S. elections in service of hostile foreign interests, regardless of whether the culprits are U.S. citizens or foreign individuals abroad,’ Olsen said in a news release.”

Makes me wonder which one of us noisy dissidents will be silenced next- as Adam Schiff and other shameful members of Congress remain unpunished for their perpetual treasonous lies- perfidy far beyond the “crimes” of which these four relatively harmless American citizens stand accused.

I suspect the AP story by Anderson was a bit long for some of you, but it smacks a bit too much of Hitleresque conditions in Germany during the 1930s. Even Communists have the right in a free “society” to say what they believe. “Discord in US society” seems to be anything that clashes with the Biden administration’s official prevarications- discordant lies which, even from Crooked Joe, himself, are numerous beyond belief.

Again, “Makes me wonder which one of us noisy dissidents will be silenced next.”
