Barry Should’ve Been Gone Four Years Ago!

This morning I picked up our 2003 Mercedes S430 at Independent Import in Provo- after, among a few other maintenance items, a synthetic oil change and the two catalytic converters having been replaced. I was really impressed with owner-operator Thayne Peterson and asked him if he had anything to say about President Obama. Without slightest hesitation, this hardworking Utah small-businessman replied, “I wish he’d been gone four years ago. He’s making it harder and harder to do business- (and) if he’s reelected, I’ll raise my prices the next day, because I know what’s coming.” Did ya hear that Barack?

 

Back in June of 2002 when our Ocean City bed and breakfast caught fire after being struck by lightning, one of the reasons I had an almost imperceptible smile on my face while the place was still burning was that I no longer had to put up with local, state and federal government crimping my own small-business. Yes, that was pre-Obama, but I can therefore appreciate the relentless pressure now thwarting America’s small-business owners. You know them, folks- all those wonderful risk-taking red-blooded resourceful American entrepreneurs who “didn’t build it” themselves!

 

To say Barry Obama is “out of touch” with us common folk might be a gross understatement. I firmly believe Barry looks at the United States through rose-colored glasses supplied by Valerie Jarrett- and that his irritating phony smile was perfected through expert coaching from his liberal Hollywood friends. Speaking of cronies, who in the world of small-business isn’t tired of our undocumented Kenyan picking winners and losers? And did Newsweek, of all publications, really just say, “Hit the road, Barack?”

 

Our soaring national debt has nearly crashed our national economy. Scandal after scandal rocks the Obama White House. Obama’s minions want even more tax money from us- not to improve our lives, but to cover their foolish and wasteful deficit spending.

 

And oh, that this were all! Malicious miscreants cross our southern border at will- and I’m certainly not referring to undocumented Mexican labor. Our foreign policy is a shambles. Obama mismanagement and lack of competent leadership have severely jeopardized our national security- especially those astounding security leaks from the White House. And who can forget the treasonous chatter by Obama to the Russian president? Gotta watch those open mikes, Barack!

 

Most regrettably, our cherished concept of what it means to be an American is looking more and more like residence in a third-world country enduring the heavy hand of a Joseph Stalin. Or should I say Mao Tse Tung, Valerie?

 

What will cure our economic woes? Here’s the short list: repeal ObamaCare, achieve energy independence, lower federal taxes across the board, eliminate unnecessary bureaucratic regulation, buy American- and stop all this horrific wasteful government spending. Guess I’m sounding just like Mitt and Paul…

 

Yes, Thayne- you found the critical loose connection that’s short-circuiting our American economy: “Barry should’ve been gone four years ago!”
