Like every other caring American, I am sickened by the continuing environmental catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico. Do I fault British Petroleum? Of course I do- but Barry Obama is using BP as a scapegoat to divert international attention from his own incomparable incompetence. And just as all other national difficulties continue to be George Bush’s fault, Barry will forever blame BP for his own inability to successfully confront a dire national crisis.
Consider this. If a house in your neighborhood catches fire, it immediately becomes the responsibility of the local fire department to contain and extinguish that blaze- not, for example, an adult who allowed a child to play with matches. The fire chief takes charge- and the legal ramifications of cause and culpability are handled later. The fire chief doesn’t head to the golf course, launch a self-serving public relations campaign- or simply pass the buck. He speedily coordinates all personnel and equipment to ensure that the fire is put out as quickly as possible.
Maybe it just boils down to whose side Barry Obama is really on…
In any case, if Lyndon Johnson still owns our involvement in Vietnam- and if Jimmy Carter still owns an exasperating Iranian hostage crisis and all those long lines at gas stations, what does this pathetic clown from Kenya own? Soaring federal deficits, a monumental healthcare debacle, a lingering recession and a disastrous foreign policy- to name but a few of his troublesome assets.
More than anything else, however, Barack will be remembered for the greatest man-made environmental disaster in US history. And believe me, folks- as much as I harbor unkind feelings (infinite animosity?) toward this great imposter, I wish I were vastly overstating the colossal severity of this ecological catastrophe. The ripple effect of this horrible nightmare will not only reach every family in America- but export pain and suffering around the globe.
Day by day, the extent of this horrific debacle gets worse- not better. More crude oil is spewing into the sea- not less. The contamination continues to spread- with no convincing evidence of containment.
I’m not a huge fan of Michael Steele, but he pointed out something I had overlooked. How could Barry Obama have been so willing to have dialogue with Mamoud Ahmadinejad- yet fail to personally discuss this Gulf fiasco with BP’s Tony Hayward?
Yesterday’s primary results did not bode well for Democrats- and the continuing disaster in the Gulf further diminishes their chances of success in November. Guess I should be happy about that- but this near-doomsday scenario is far too serious to take even the slightest pleasure in the opposition’s political misfortune.
It is impossible to overstate the astounding lack of positive leadership in our executive branch as it relates the ongoing oil spill. The President found time for golf and basketball- yet couldn’t get beyond his public relations efforts in contending with a grave environmental disaster. This classic narcissist is more concerned with polishing his political image than protecting our nation’s welfare. He is a modern Nero fiddling while Rome burns…
Is their an even darker side to Barry’s lack of leadership? Is the Obama administration hoping the situation will worsen to the point of justifying martial law? Is his endgame the complete destruction of American prosperity and individual liberty? As we confront the continuing threat of a New World Order, is the man sworn to defend us complicit with the enemy?
As countless other Americans have done, I have heretofore raised the issue of Barry’s foreign birth, alleged homosexuality, drug abuse and even far-reaching implications of murder. It is inconceivable to me that that so many members of the mainstream media have placed their infatuation with a common criminal above our national security. At what point do they say, “Enough!” When do they stand up for truth- and the safety of their own families? When do they realize that the present hemorrhaging of America’s lifeblood caused by White House incompetence, corruption and treachery threatens the very existence of the Republic? The skyrocketing national debt by itself should be enough to call them to hasty repentance.
Have we fallen so far as a people that only a violent revolution can reverse our current course toward tyranny, poverty and godlessness? Have we become so wicked that we are ripe for destruction?
I remain hopeful that we shall see at least one more season of American righteousness and prosperity. Nevertheless, as crude oil continues to billow into our precious Gulf waters, I fear that this worsening disaster is fast outstripping human ability to resolve it. Moreover, we have a President who poses a greater threat to our national security and fragile environment than the oil spill itself…
