A Loud Burst Of Black Powder Possessing Neither Ball Nor Shot…

The above photo and its English message were drawn from last week’s tumultuous events in Tunisia. It bears an uncanny resemblance to similar scenes in America over the past two years as the Taxed-Enough-Already have stoked the fiery coals of rebellion within our own political scene.

Thus it occurs to me that something unintended and undeniably remarkable, perhaps even spectacular, has been exported by the TEA Party to the rest of the world. True enough, the violent unrest in Tunisia and a number of other countries may not mirror the well-disciplined peaceful demonstrations of their American counterparts, but I respectfully submit that we have started something big. And before I continue, let me voice my fervent hope that we shall have success worthy of these Tunisian patriots in ridding ourselves of “a president who treats his people like idiots.”

However, I speak not primarily of my bitter enmity toward the bumbling Barack Obama administration, but rather of my deep-seated disgust and vitriolic resentment toward the globalist agenda. Don’t get me wrong, folks. Barry irritates me to no end- but my unquenchable rage is rooted much further back in American history.

Yes, my boiling resentment toward what has now become the nefarious goals of a New World Order begins with the stern warning from Thomas Jefferson that if the American people ever allowed private interests to control the flow of currency into our economy, first by inflation and then by deflation, we would one day awake homeless and without property.

Fast-forward now to President Andrew “Stonewall” Jackson having “killed” the treacherous darling of that two-bit traitor Alexander Hamilton, namely the National Bank- and then skip to President Abraham Lincoln’s victory over the northern banks by printing his own greenbacks to fund the war and avoid their hideous usury, Abe’s eventual assassination notwithstanding.

And whatever his human flaws may have been, that brings me to President John Kennedy and his efforts to once again print our own currency and thereby eviscerate the Federal Reserve. And yes, Jack was probably our last real President- not to belittle the noble efforts of beloved Ronald Wilson Reagan.

You see where I’m going here? There’s something afoot that has shoved the globalist agenda onto some pretty thin ice- and while I can’t quite put all the pieces of this marvelous puzzle together as yet, I am saying, as have some other conservative voices, that the elitists are now worried. Proponents of the globalist agenda have even become a bit reckless in their now frantic efforts to conquer us with their merciless tyranny and terror.

I heard it said recently that the modern world’s liberating constitutional documents have all been patterned after our own beloved Constitution. Could it be that American patriots of another age have spawned yet another rebellion against tyranny- one that has echoed round the globe as did those first shots fired at Lexington and Concord?

True enough, the first shot fired at Lexington Green was likely fired by a nervous Redcoat, but no matter. From one of my earlier pieces:

“Our continuing American Revolution began early on the morning of 19 April 1775 on a small village green in Lexington, Massachusetts when a handful of ragtag Colonial militiamen led by Captain John Parker confronted a highly superior force of Redcoats led by Major John Pitcairn.

Twenty-three-year-old Sylvanus Wood was among the patriots that morning and later reported that the British officer on horseback warned, ‘Lay down your arms, you damned rebels, or you are all dead men!’

According to Wood, some British guns of the first platoon then fired, but were apparently charged only with black powder. None of the thirty-eight patriots  by Wood’s count were harmed by that first volley.

Wood further reported, ‘Captain Parker ordered every man to take care of himself. The company immediately dispersed, and while the company was dispersing and leaping over the wall, the second platoon of the British fired and killed some of our men. There was not a gun fired by any of Captain Parker’s company…’

In the second volley, eight patriots were killed.

To be fair and balanced, I present the account of Major Pitcairn, who later reported to General Gage, ‘Some of the Rebels, who had jumped over the wall, fired four or five shots at the Soldiers, which wounded a man of the Tenth, and my horse was wounded in two places from some quarter or other, and at the same time several shots were fired from a meeting house on our left. Upon this, without any order or regularity, the light Infantry began a scattered fire, and continued... contrary to the repeated orders both of me and the officers that were present…’

It is profoundly ironic that the shot heard around the entire world, at least according to our honest eyewitness and courageous patriot Sylvanus Wood, was fired by a British Soldier and was apparently just a loud blast of black powder. No ball…”

My beloved patriots of the Taxed-Enough-Already, we have started something that will shake the very foundations of Hell- that will clearly advance the eternal cause of human liberty. Sadly, that global rebellion has not been without violence- even sparking violence within the ranks of our nervous enemies.

And I refer NOT to the sheer insanity recently demonstrated in Tucson. Neither shall Almighty God lay blame for such mindless bloodshed at our weary feet- but his eternal wrath and condemnation shall indeed rest upon those wicked purveyors of tyranny of whom Jefferson so prophetically warned.

And in the end, the final blast of the last elitist cannon shall prove no more than a loud burst of black powder possessing neither ball nor shot- as was so aptly described by Shakespeare’s Macbeth, “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.”
