Comment by Oregon Country Girl on November 8, 2009 at 4:56am: The reason universal healthcare has not passed in this country (in the past) is because the American people do NOT want it, and NEVER have wanted it. Because, they know it's a disaster waiting to happen just as has happened in Britain and Canada. As well as a number of our states that have tried it. It will be WAY more costly, huge rationing of care (especially since 45% to 75% of doctors in our country said they would quit if universal healthcare is passed in the Senate)...and I don't blame them...I would too. This will destroy small business and decimate the middle class. Which of course, is their plan...because the leftist radicals want to turn this into a communist country. Nancy Pelsoi looked like the "cat that ate the canary" grinning from ear to ear. She is a liar and has committed treason against the American people, including her own base. All I can say is: she will stand before God in judgement someday for her "crimes against humanity" and all her wealth and power won't help her then.

I will get started right now e-mailing and hammering the State-ist in our senate.Maybe we can stop it.
