that is the 16th amendment,

above,

enacted in 1913.

It empowered congress to

tax your income,

thereby depriving you of

a very precious right-

the Right to Boycott the government

when it becomes corrupt or tyrannical.

The only fair, democratic Tax is a

Tax on Consumption

...a National Sales Tax.

With a National Sales Tax

as the only means of raising revenue,

the government would fear

a citizens' boycott...

which would effectively express

the wrath of the people

they have wronged.

Powerful Corporations

fear the consumers' potential

to boycott them.

When they fear you,

the people,

they RESPECT you.

The government,

thanks to the 16th amendment,

doesn't fear you

OR

respect you.

...but you fear

We the People recognize there are weaknesses, not in the constitution but in the human spirit.
Humans have proven themselves unable to follow the spirit of the constitution. The parts that refer specifically to, "We the People in order to form a more perfect union" and, "secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our prosperity" are being ignored and overwritten every year.
The greedy among us have promulgated ways to gain power and wealth for a powerful few in Washington DC as well as EVERY state house in the union.
Collective corruption calls for additions, deletions, and corrections to our founding documents. They must be made to the founding document to keep our nation well and safe.
Repealing the 16th amendment is not only a good idea but here in 2017 where the IRS, the arm of government charged with designing and collecting taxes, has become so corrupted that it no longer serves We the People but is actually our enemy answering to nobody but the corrupt powerful few.
Repealing the 16th amendment and installing a 27th amendment which will levy a national sales tax has now become a national necessity.

Removing the IRS will save us money but more importantly reduce the number of government employees bent on harming individual citizens and citizen groups.
