Once again, when this country needs them the most, real heros rise up out of her population. "Ordinary" citizens stand up and begin to speak out against tyranny and because of their passion and love of this nation, her principles & values they attract other like minded individuals and "We the People" once again find our voices.

The 'protesters' of the 60's & 70's all became lawyers or professors or activists in suits rather than long hair & 'love beads'. These idologues adopted their collectivism through the haze of marijuana or the halucinations brought on by LSD! Because of the freedoms afforded by our Constitution they are perfectly free to follow whichever path THEY prefer..............but that very same document prevents them from forcing their idea of Nirvanna on the rest of us.

The TEA Party began with a rant from Rick Santelli on the floor of the Chicago Board of Options Exchange......one man put the thoughts of many Americans into words and a movement was born. Men and women from all races & walks of life showed up at rallies at their state capitals to have their voices heard for the first time ever in their lives. All of the rallies were downplayed by the media and the liberal talkers began their mocking of people who had previously been silently living their lives, raising their families, paying their taxes and, frankly, not paying any particular attention to politics other than when elections rolled around.

 
"THEY" all thought we would take our flags, our signs, our opinions & our patriotism and go back where we came from but that isn't happening. "THEY" have awakened that Sleeping Giant and he is well rested and alert.

We need to hold their feet to the fire as they have never been in the past. For example: when they read the Constitution at the opening of this session of Congress they deliberetly OMITTED the 18th Ammendment [prohibition] but read the 21st [repeal of 18]. They also omitted the 3/5 law which was a step by the abolitionists to ELIMINATE slavery! The southern states wanted the slaves counted as one person each not for any humanitarian motive but to ensure that the south would have the votes in Congress to allow them to keep slavery operating.

 
I don't know about any of you but I'm writing my Congressmen [Ryan & Sensenbrenner] and asking WHY?!?!
The Founders INTENDED that ALL ammendments remain within the document so that future generations could learn from the errors of history.

 
Maybe they didn't REALLY hear us last November! Maybe we need to speak louder in one or two syllable words!
We are far from finished......it is safe to say that we are in the infancy of a movement that will prosper and grow.

Dear Raya,

How kind of you! I would be flattered if you were to use my comment [only if you promise to spell GOOD correctly...........GOOG is pretty silly, don't you think?]

I REALLY love the book and think than an annual "Yearbook" is a terrific idea as it chronicles the battles we choose to engage in.

Please forgive me for one criticism and that is the price. $49.95 is pricey for a soft cover book, regardless of content. If there is a way to make it more affordable, it will reach a greater number of people and have a greater impact. Just my opinion which is worth exactly what you paid for it! **

THANKS for the permission!
...be on the lookout for the subsequent posting, sometime this week.

As to the letter "G" appearing in the word GOOD twice, it can only be explained by a little known phenomena known as "Keyboard Hiccup"...probably due to overly excessive 'Googling' on your PC.

Not to worry!....there is an immediate remedy for this!

When you see evidence of "Keyboard Hiccup", immediately with your right palm, gently, tap the right side of your forehead, then make the necessary corrections, preferably during the self-edit process, before publiCHing your comment, to avoid any such gliSHes of this type. (Forgive the pun, but I can assure you, it WAS intended.)

The permanent cure for the above is to view "BRISTOL STOMP" at least once a week, in it's entirety!
