Have You Looked Beneath Barry’s Mask Lately?

Approaching Halloween 2010, perhaps we should carefully examine the great Barry and Michelle masquerade and how it has adversely affected America- especially since the day after All Saints is Election Day.

Two books which have helped me peek beneath the rubber facemasks of the royal couple and many duplicitous members of their administration are Laura Ingraham’s “The Obama Diaries” and Bob Woodward’s “Obama’s Wars.”

The Obamas have tried to portray themselves as an ideal American family- and pass off their vision for America as our perfect travel destination. However, the underlying values guiding the Obamas are based on their own brand of secular pragmatism rather than Judeo-Christian principles.

It seems this amoral attitude extends throughout the Obama camp. Notice I described the Obama philosophy as amoral as opposed to immoral. This means they are grounded in a secular ethic that so completely shuts out the will of God, that right or wrong is no longer determined by divine guideline and commandment- but rather the preponderance of prevailing liberal opinion. In short, the Almighty has been replaced by an all wise and omniscient think-tank.

Early in her book, for example, Laura brings up the abortion issue. “At a Pennsylvania rally in March 2008, Senator Obama told the assembled, ‘I’ve got two daughters- nine years old and six years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby.’ ” If you are a Christian who believes in the sanctity of human life, do you feel any unsettling aftershocks from that statement?

Moreover, the entire Obama administration reads like a Who’s Who in Pro-Choice circles- perhaps best exemplified by Kathleen Sebelius, the Secretary of Health and Human Services and an ardent supporter of late-term abortion.

And one thing I took away from Bob Woodward’s book is that the war in Iraq finds no justification whatsoever within the Obama camp- because an ultimate Iraqi victory in part justifies George W. Bush. On the flipside, the Afghan War is totally justified, because Barack called it the “right war.” In other words, a good war is one that qualifies as politically expedient for the liberal Democrats. When non-military Barry Obama made this rash statement, however, he failed to recognize that the Afghan War was unwinnable.

Again, Woodward quoted General David Petraeus as saying privately, “I don’t think you win this war. I think you keep fighting... This is the kind of war we’re in for the rest of our lives and probably our kids’ lives.”

Moreover, if victory in Afghanistan is finally accomplished, Woodward laboriously lays out the case that this dubious achievement will come to pass only by changing the definition of victory itself- by degrading the Taliban’s power and influence instead of defeating it.

Said another way, when victory by overwhelming force becomes so costly in blood and treasure that it fails the test of political expedience, lesser hemorrhaging within the constraints of minimal force can still achieve success by redefining victory.

And if you still don’t get it, I’ll try a third time. Whenever a disastrous end isn’t politically justified by its horrific means, clever spin-doctors within the liberal think-tank put a happy face on moral failure to satisfy the gullible public. Yes, a happy face on abortion, a military quagmire- or any other unpleasant reality that threatens their political popularity! Or so the liberal think-tank surmises…

But the American people have awakened from their hypnotic slumber carefully induced by these practitioners of liberal spin- and what Americans see before them is a living nightmare more frightening than any Hollywood horror film.

The Obama nightmare has us dripping with tyranny and drowning in debt. The ghastly ramifications of Obama Care make the “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” seem like a feel-good Disney film. Our porous southern border gives new meaning to “armed and dangerous” and accentuates the growing need to fortify our personal castles with deadly weaponry. We now see the bloody quagmire which our military endured in Vietnamese jungles being reenacted in the desolate hills of Afghanistan. All these flickering images dance with reckless abandon within our brains like bad dreams that never end.

I once properly described Barry Obama as a wooden puppet who gave life to scripted remarks as they flashed across a magic screen- but now our liberal Pinocchio is a real live boy. Some say he is a sinister cartoon character brought to life by the miscalculations and incantations of Hell- a political buffoon guided by the promiscuous tenets of a bankrupt secular amorality.

We the people have allowed pragmatic convenience to trample the honest fruits of principle and conscience. Have you looked beneath Barry’s mask lately?

I feel that our military maybe standing by, however, most over general are bought and paid for too. They belong to scull and bones and other groups. I pray we get the votes we need in November, but I also think zero will just use EO's as illegal as it maybe, he has already done 50 illegal items and counting. I would like to see the policing in Afghanistan end. It is not a war, it is a policing action only worse than the Vietnam issue as you have said. I am glad Saddam is gone, but those people are still suffering, just not at his hand. Bush senior was listening to the NWO on what he could and could not do. Now we are waking at least most of us and we see a lot looking back. Thanks for all the writings you do, it is nice to see someone put it in proper perspective....

In the end, it may be our military that takes back our country by force. A military coup at this point may be closer than some folks think. In any case, let's hope the bloodless coup scheduled for 2 November does the trick and sufficiently pulls us back from the brink of chaos.

When Hussein crossed into Kuwait, the Iraqi War became our war. We should have finished it then- but George H.W. "NWO" Bush either didn't have the stomach for it- or the global elite wasn't quite ready to hang the Iraqi bastard. Probably a combination of both. In any case, I'm glad Saddam is dead.

As for Afghanistan, one of the greatest generals of our time has said privately what I've been saying publicly for more than a year on Real Conservatives: “I don’t think you win this war. I think you keep fighting... This is the kind of war we’re in for the rest of our lives and probably our kids’ lives.”

Not "bad" as Vietnam? Infinitely worse, because we should know better this time...

Excellent as always! Guess the commie czars and Soro's didn't learn a thing about communism never working out! We do not belong in either of those countries fighting, we are at NO war with Afghanistan nor Iraq! The young need to not enlist in today's military... This is as bad as Vietnam. What are they fighting fore the poppy fields?
