First, a clarification. In my last article about Mexico and Afghanistan, I was merely trying to alert you that a complete implosion of the Mexican government due to further destabilization by Los Zetas and other drug cartels may necessitate a military invasion of Mexico as a grave matter of national security. Meanwhile, we have been squandering our military resources in Afghanistan- a never-ending conflict of which General David Petraeus said privately, “I don’t think you win this war. I think you keep fighting... This is the kind of war we’re in for the rest of our lives and probably our kids’ lives.”
The Obama administration’s lame military response to the drug cartels has been to put up signs in the Buenos Aires National Wildlife Refuge- warning tourists to stay away from the armed drug insurgents...
Let me assure you that if the drug cartels take complete control of Mexico, we will have no choice but to invade. As a preventative measure, we must militarily secure our southern border- inasmuch as the strength of the cartels has much to do with their unlimited access along that porous border to US drug markets, about which I have long bitterly complained- along with every other sane patriot. Moreover, I am in no way advocating a military invasion of Mexico- only alerting you that the Obama administration’s failure to adequately address the current threat posed by the drug cartels will only lead to a much greater threat to our national security that might require such an invasion.
Back to the November election. A poll released yesterday indicates a whopping 63% of Americans are angry with the federal government. No matter how the Obama propaganda machine spins it, the Dems are in big trouble.
However, it is important that all Taxed-Enough-Already runners engaged in this grueling marathon not use these dire forecasts for the Dems as an excuse to coast to the 2 November finish line. Time for your kick. Pick up the pace.
Our only viable strategy is to roundly defeat the Democrats first- and then systematically expel every last traitorous rhinoceros masquerading as an flag-waving elephant.
There are those who stubbornly insist that supporting the Republican Party to any degree is as foolhardy as voting for a tax and spend Democrat. We must take back America one well-organized step at a time. And yes, I’m still hopeful for a Reagan-style takeover of the GOP. But if all else fails, and tantamount to a last-ditch military invasion of Mexico, we must then abandon the GOP- and field a full slate of Taxed-Enough-Already patriots in 2012.
Moreover, we cannot underestimate the impact of a resounding Dem defeat on the Obama administration. Even now, many key Obama staffers are either jumping ship or being shoved overboard.
Regaining Republican majorities in Congress is critical to our cause. GOP majorities in the House and Senate will not be the panacea by any stretch of the imagination, but it will slow Obama down- and maybe even undue some of the damage Barry has inflicted on the American people. Most of all, the anticipated GOP victories will buy us critical time to organize our defenses and pushback against Obama’s destructive policies.
In that regard, I’m slowly digesting Bob Woodward’s new book- which allows the reader to be a fly-on-the-wall as the Obama crowd interacts with our military. I find the book fascinating- though I admittedly find it easier to write a book than read one. I can tell you that Barry Obama is a most intelligent adversary- and that even Joe Biden is by no means the joke I mistook him for.
Beyond that assessment, I genuinely fear for both America and our military.
We are at a great crossroads in American history- one where the participation of ordinary American patriots has produced uncommon, perhaps even miraculous, results. I firmly believe that while our counterinsurgency efforts in Afghanistan may be a colossal case of overreaching, winning the hearts and minds of America is within our grasp. People are starting to get it. Big time.
So my patriot friends, let us please abandon all our intramural food fights for the time being- and turn our full fury toward the damnable Dems. We can do this- and the glorious impact of an overwhelming liberal Democrat defeat in November is presently impossible to fully appreciate.
Moreover, while my hopes are dimming a bit for an O’Donnell victory in Delaware, I am hoping for a number of pleasant surprises when the election results are posted that even the boldest Republican pollsters failed to predict.
The present trickle through a crack in the liberal dam will become a raging torrent when that crumbling dam tumbles into the unforgiving gorge below. The greatest beneficial impact will be to slow globalist progress enabled by the Obama juggernaut. And though I may continually mix my metaphors, Barry’s liberal gravy train is about to come to a screeching halt…
