Looking ahead to the 2012 election, the only Presidential candidate I can fully endorse without slightest reservation is Ron Paul- whose moral bedrock of absolute loyalty to the US Constitution and impeccable understanding thereof clearly lifts him head and shoulders above anyone else in the Taxed Enough Already and/or Republican field. I am, however, concerned about Congressman Paul’s electability within an electorate largely and unfortunately comprised of voters possessing much less Constitutional loyalty and understanding.
But whatever Congressman Paul may lack in electability, Governor Mitt Romney clearly possesses. And though Romney may be somewhat less qualified than Paul, Mitt does have the charisma, intelligence and business acumen sufficient to gain the Presidency.
Therefore, a conservative coalition of Paul and Romney backers supporting a Romney-Paul ticket or preferably a Romney-Palin ticket may be our best chance for victory in 2012.
And before you instinctively choke on the latter alternative, please don’t underestimate Sarah Palin’s sustained star-power or undeniable feminist clout. She’s come a long way since the “Russia from my house” line of Tina Fey.
Moreover, I again submit that the greatest threat to the Taxed-Enough-Already agenda in 2012 will be more of the same underhanded Republican infighting we saw in 2008- especially the criticism of Romney’s religion and Palin’s backwoods Alaskan wisdom.
And at this point I take Hillary Clinton at her word. She will not run for public office ever again- probably because of threats by the Obama crowd to expose certain elements of an unsavory Clinton past. In that regard, it is a bitter national tragedy that the shady secrets of Obama himself have been so effectively concealed for so long. Ironically, it may be Clintonian revenge that brings to light what our conservative wrath could not…
Whomever we choose to carry the conservative standard in 2012, our illustrious duo must be selected as soon as possible- yes, including the VP candidate!
And yes, there are some on the touted short list that absolutely nauseate me. No offense, Mr. Huckabee- your recent success on FNC notwithstanding…
We need to start the conservative vetting process immediately. Let it get hot and heavy- but please leave sufficient time for precious truth to actually prevail.
Don’t agree with me on Romney, Paul and Palin? Fine, but let’s get ’er done now- and not stumble around during the summer of 2012. If ya got better ideas, let’s hear them!
And speaking of dirt, we need to keep the heat on the great Kenyan imposter. Personally, I’m still hoping for Barry’s glorious impeachment- and yes, I hope Bill and Hillary will help. In the realm of political pugilistic mayhem, the Clintons are the undisputed king and queen. Maybe Obama will be caught with a deft right hook from a weighted-knuckle glove he never saw coming…
Certainly the there’s no shortage of sins and shortcomings within the Obama camp. Illegal campaign donations, for example. Ever wonder why so many of his 2008 contributions ended in an odd number of cents? Because they were converted from foreign currencies! And will the new Congress press the indisputable fact that Obama is Constitutionally ineligible to be President because his Kenyan-born father wasn’t a US citizen?
We could even get into darker political territory! Take then-Senator Obama’s trip to Kenya in 2006. And if you haven’t already, please read my article entitled “Blood On Barry’s Hands?” In that piece I submit that Barack Hussein Obama was partly responsible for Muslim atrocities in Kenya in 2007 by virtue of campaigning as a US Senator in that country in August of 2006 for Kenyan presidential candidate Raila Odinga- thus adding significantly to the horrific murders of hundreds of Christians after Odinga’s loss.
Not enough to pique your curiosity? Perhaps we could ask the Clintons to shed some light on the murders of Donald Young and Quarles Harris. And what’s Vera Baker doin’ these days? Here’s the bottom line, folks. The game of politics is filthy and merciless- and if we’re too polite to delve into the dirt, we can rightfully expect to have our proverbial heads handed to us in the next Presidential election. This is not the time for the quintessential etiquette of Emily Post. We would do well to take a few hints from the Clintonian SOP (Standard Operational Procedure).
Yes, repeal ObamaCare in 2011 and hopefully undo the rest of the damage these bloodsucking morons have inflicted on our republic- but for the Taxed-Enough-Already, Election 2012 must begin in earnest right now!
