We Don't Have to be Politicians to be One of Glenn Beck's "Refounders"

For those of you who watch Glenn Beck on Fox News regularly, you will know that after he exposed the corruption of Van Jones and ACORN, he started a new project. He gave a lesson about the 56 Founding Fathers who risked everything to create our Constitution and Bill of Rights to found our new country.
He realized how much help the two 20-something young film-makers contributed with their secret videos of the corrupt actions of ACORN employees, including using taxpayers' money to fund brothels for under-age illegal aliens. Basically, he shamed Congress and the Senate into defunding ACORN and protecting future taxpayer money from being used for corruption. Now it is time for them to put them in prison.

So Glenn started a new project, calling for 'Refounders" -- other politicians -- to reveal the corruption around them in Washington, D.C. He promised that they could remain anonymous, even on video with special effects. Although many of us believe that the majority of politicians are corrupt, undoubtedly many of them are just afraid of losing their cushy jobs and benefits if they come out in the open and reveal the corruption surrounding them.

Most of them know how ACORN intimidated and manipulated the financial institutions into providing illegal mortgages to people who could not possibly pay for them. They could reveal the names of the politicians who supported this outrageous action and caused this nation's financial crisis. The people who work for Fanny Mae and Freddy Mac also know who were the leaders of the conspiracy that brought down these two agencies. Many other politicians could come up with the names of the corrupt politicians who supported these actions in order to line their pockets.

However, American citizens who are not politicians can also come up with names and proof. Any Conservative who works in the media could name dozens of their co-workers who use illegal and immoral methods to support the liberals. It is no accident that all the "what used to be called main-stream-media, but is now fringe media" has been in the tank for the liberals since the nominations first started. The names of those who mandated this fake type of news needs to be revealed and reviled.
Another obvious act of corruption in Congress is their protection of "smelt" fish in Central California by restricting ~50 percent of the water that farmers used to receive to water their crops. Now their crops are dying, the price of food is becoming astronomical, and eventually the farmers will be forced to sell their land for pennies on the dollar...and you can bet that corrupt "environmentalists" who pushed this Bill through Washington, D.C. will be first in line to buy the land. Then they will get the restriction of water reversed, plant new crops, and be in control of the food that Americans need.

I'm sure every reader can remember other examples of corruption that they can expose. So why don't you do it in more blogs. Let's all join Glenn to stand up and clean up our corrupt political system.

Wayne, great comment, and Edie, great post. I wrote all the Senators twice and heard back through a form letter from Gillenbrand once, Schumer NEVER, Ted Kennedy once, Joe Lieberman TWICE, an John McCain once. On cap and trade, I attempted to call many of the Democratic Congressmen and women's home offices and too many times was asked for my address...when I said I was from NYC, the folks in these Congressional offices hung up on me...or derided my call.... (I suppose these representatives only care about their immediate constituents and not the TONE of how the country is feeling....well, that TONE has come to their constituents as well!!!)

Great Post. I am doing all I can through the internet and local newspapers. Letters to the editor are a great tool to reach thousands of people. I had no success in getting a response from my congressman when I wrote him about health care. So I published an open letter in the local newspaper. Guess what? I heard from him within days. We must use every tool at our disposal to defend our nation. Every person needs to get involved. The stakes are too high to remain on the sideline.
