I was getting, I believe I told you, up to 1600 visits a day. After I was deactivated for one week, I am back in as of a couple of hours ago, I am getting under 600 visits a day. Last weeks readings we over 8000 visits, this week, 3900. Now that hurts. Go and read this yourself and then you decide if you want to post it. I will leave that up to you. My site is a bit more outspoken then yours so maybe you don't have need of a back up site, our is going strong already and is still under construction.

Brother, it could have something to do with HTML. So far I haven't been deactivated & I have never used HTML.

Or it might be that I type everything using only my left hand (in doing 'puter drafting I was taught - right hand on mouse, left hand on keyboard to type in 2 or 4 character commands). Now , if right hand trys to help type, it just gets in the way! LOL

I would type with my toes if it would help LOL but so far we are still trying to regather everyone that we have not heard from recently. I am not seeing a lot of improvement in the tweaking ning team says it is fine tuning after their maintenance shut down as far as the others of our folks are concerned because they aren't on here that I can see and it has been days now.
Oh I just thought...typing with my toes...mental picture...LOL ...not good

Nor I on my main account. All our posters seem to be gone or afraid to post. I know we are NOT the only site this is happening at. I even mentioned if I went premium would I still have this problem, no response. Then again, if I did, we would need donations to continue.

My eyes are bugging out looking at a list of servers. I can't read anymore. They are all so varied in style and in technic. I need someone that knows what they are doing.

Maybe it's not the political stuff that's bothering them, maybe the Word of God spread here is what is doing it and they can take it? Nah, it's most likely the political stuff, that is what has been booting us off. The fear the Truth.

Apparently NING considers too much of anything, i.e. even posting, to be SPAM. As to private messages I've sent about 3-5.

Yesterday evening I couldn't sign in.

I went to NING HELP and gave notice (complaint)

Today they corrected it and now I can sign in. Here is what they sent me:

Your account was temporarily disabled because our system automatically detected your high rate of activity as spam.

We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience, and we have re-enabled your account, so you should be able to sign in without issue. Don't hesitate to be in touch if you have any questions.

I am mostly making a comment here so that I can keep up with ''this discussion''. As some of you know, I also ''run'' a ning site. Over the last 2 weeks I have '' lost'' several of our Best Bloggers and have also Been inundated with ''' new members'' who were ALL Spammers ! The Bloggers were All very Political and posted everyday ! At first, I set my BLOGs to Approval only status-- which has Stopped the spammers ! Thank God !
I also belong to many other ning sites --- All of which have been having THESE SAME Problems ! Emil , I feel this is Censorship at it's ugliest --- BUT WE WILL PREVAIL ! HOLD STEADY ! GOD IS FOR US AND SO WHO CAN STAND AGAINST US !
My thought is that -- This 'blacklisting of memberships'' is the Only thing that the ning liberals could think to do ! That is good news ! Means even their ''hands are a little tied and really noneffective ''. They are also causing many Administrators to look at moving off the nings to other servers ! This will actually help by Spreading our message around ! What evil has meant for our silence , just might serve to allow our voices to become louder and in more places ! Attacks show us two things...1) The devices of the enemy 2) the size of the attacks pale in comparrison to the Blessings that are ours that the enemy attempts to hinger or to distract us from or cause us to fear and to run or doubt and not see or have.

If I understand correctly...you are unable to access your 'messages?' and can not send messages out to members?
There are still a lot of problems being reported and many of them involve emails, updates etc.
Read Brother Tims message below.
I assure you that we are all trying to get ning to resolve these issues and thank you sincerely for your patience.In the email I sent to you there is an email address for ning team members.
If you go onto the ning site directly and fill the report out from there it seems to get their attention faster than if it is sent to Liz alone. At least it did for me. I later got a request from Liz asking that I contact her directly but it is apparent that doing this alone seems to result in an inexcusable time wait period. I thanked her ...I was nice...and when I got booted off again for posting ONE single post I wrote to Liz and cc'd the ning team and got results within a couple three hours. I don't know that this will work every time but I don't know that it won't either. It worked for me.I will see if I can get the link to their site and post it here as well.

We’re putting the finishing touches on the planned maintenance after running into a few roadblocks. Next update in about 30 minutes.

The Link Below is the ningteam help link. This is where I went to ask for help and and tell them about the problems I and others were having. Response time is Much Faster it seems than going through Liz alone. I hope this helps... we want everyone back and busy again soon :)

2 days after I sent the notification of not recieving e-mail updates I recieved this;

Hi there,

Sorry to hear that notifications don't seem to be coming through. Can you
please check the following?

* Make sure that these emails aren't going into your SPAM or junk mailfolders
* Make sure that ning email addresses are not being blocked by your email
client
* Double check that your email settings within the Ning Network are correct

If these all seem correct please reply to me with the link to an example of
recent activity for which you should have received an email notification but
did not. This could be a group you're following, a discussion that was
replied to, etc.

We'll get to the bottom of this!

My response to them;

Ok, the e-mails are not going into junk, 2 the problem isn't effecting all notifications just most and 3 last night I reset all of my settings by checking the receive no email box at the bottom of the e-mail settings page and then rechecking all the boxes. It appears as though this is a problem throughout the whole group and not just issolated to me, as other administrators and members have the same problem.

Tim join here and start a founding fathers group and slowly add your content to it daily. That is what we are trying to do now. Join is uploading all of Survival to a hard drive do he can down load it there. It looks like a really user friendly site.

I am not getting any of your discussions like I used to get. I haven't been bumped but I might anytime.
My computer is what is giving me problems.
In fact I am using my sons because mine won't work.
Every site is having problems. I am on Paul Revere Riders and the main guy has been bumped three times.
It isn't the spam, it is just trying to get us angry enough to quit--and that won't happen.

Many members, both here at G&C USA have been getting de-activated of late. We are told that it is because of their new spam program but I have studied the problem as Emil J Milano was de-activated three times and now he no longer gets site mail. Others have also been de-activate as soon as they have posted and clicked, SEND. Immediately they have been de-activated.

So, as of now, if we have political posts then I think it is best that we just post the Link. If it is via e-mail, read it carefully and watch out for political catch phrases and insert ****

Great to see you here again. We missed you. The issues that so many have had to deal with recently are varied in nature to some degree but all have been frustrating. There have been and will be changes coming up.
Read Brother Emils post above and make note of the link. It is easy to join as Brother Emil has stated, we simply have not seen evidence that supports the idea that ning will or has addressed the issues that most of us have expressed too ning in a timely manner if at all in some cases.
It is our Constitutional Right to speak freely and openly without censorship or other means to control or hinder.
Given what we have seen and experienced when dealing with ning or TRYING to deal with ning we must consider all our family here as well as our extended family that come to visit G&C from all over America and the globe provide service that we and they have come to depend upon.
You are right Sis. It is not the spam and no they will not cause us to fear or become angry and quit. We are American Citizens and We belong To Father God exclusively, We do not buy into their tactics.

The whole network as I have been told is experiencing problems and most if not all members at G&C USA, check the front page of the web site and almost any of the post, blogs / comments I used to receive notification on all this. I am still not convinced that there is not some form of censorship here!

Has anyone had a problem with everytime you turn your computer on, it has 2 or more updates it has to perform??? I used to get them maybe one a month, then one a week now it's everytime I turn on computer.
Is this normal or an excess of up-dates???? My daughter has noticed this same problem. We both have ATT phone service and Yahoo! net service. I don't know which one is the problem. We are not PC whiz's so I will have to call on the Lord for HIS wisdom to overcome this issue. GOD bless all who seek to know the Lord and follow after HIM. GOD will save us from the evil godless liberals!

I was just re-instated with my main account. This place has left a really bad taste in my mouth. It has hurt not only myself but the dearest of the membership of G & C USA. Those that have committed so much to this site, their prayers, their time, their hearts and yes, even their tears when they read of a fellow member in the Body of Christ was suffering. The laughter we have shared together, the joking with one another, the edification and exhortation has not gone unnoticed by myself and by the G-Trolls. The Truth has always been spoken here and for as long as we can it still will be but they have taken a bit of my heart out of here due to their censorship. I do not want to lay with the dogs.
I will be over at my other digs most of the time. I will still be getting site mail from here and responding as need be. As far as posting, I will keep that to responding unless I see someone come in here trying to take over the site. Then things will happen quickly.

I've been suspended six times in four weeks..... I never trust a centralized network of websites..... too easy to control and censor..... is there an independent way to have the same results - where everyone can post information that is valuable for our political education? I am a moderator for a national website and have volunteers to moderate the comments.... this keeps the traffic flowing and the comments "clean" and appropriate. If Ning ever decides to shut us all off, then, how would we communicate to our other members.... especially on different sites.
