NEVER TOLERATE TYRANNY!....Conservative voices from the GRASSROOTS.
Let me see if I’ve got this right: We now know that NoKo has the capacity to put nuclear warheads on missiles (i.e. start WWIII), butt Congress is focused on
eliminating infringing placing common-sense limitations on American’s Second Amendment rights? I guess that makes sense.
To that end, we sent out our administration’s two best experts on guns: Joey and Lady M.
UPDATED With Traveling Music (h/t: Jackie Gleason) to Honor Their Performance!
“Nobody Does It Better”: Carly Simon
First up, Joey B, with his own explanation for why people want guns:
“It used to be we were dealing almost exclusively with hunters," Biden said. "There’s a whole new sort of group of individuals now who, I don’t know what the numbers are, that never hunt at all, but they own guns for one of two reasons: self protection or they just like the feel of that AR-15 at the range."
"They like the way it feels. You know, it’s like driving a Ferrari.”
Unfortunately he seems to be getting his bitter-clinger stereotype mixed up with his limousine liberal stereotype.
Joey’s $321,000 Ferrari limo for his recent Paris visit: he liked the way it felt
Sure beats the feeling of this lousy Trans Am
Joey went on to argue for a mandated reduced sized magazine:
“If there had only been ten bullets in each clip, [the shooter] would have had to change the clip an additional three to five times," he said. "One of those kids would be alive. Somebody would be alive."
I’m not trying to be argumentative here, butt maybe he and Big Guy would be better off just trying to ban magazines altogether. I mean, doesn’t it sound like like they’re arguing that it’s okay to kill 10 people, butt anything over that is unacceptable? Where’s the common sense in that?
No, wait, what did I just say? Okay, let’s just ban guns altogether.
Meanwhile, in Chicago, Lady M was also busy demonstrating that no one’s too big, no one’s too small to exploit if it’s something we really believe in:
She took a rare step for any first lady into the legislative fight of the hour, saying her husband, President Obama, is “fighting as hard as he can, and engaging as many people as he can, to pass common-sense reforms to protect our children from gun violence.”
“These reforms deserve a vote in Congress,” she said.
Because filibustering is only okay if you are a Democrat, which on it’s face proves that you are representing the majority view of the country, not just getting in the way of it.
Note to self: remind Lady M to register as a lobbyist within 45 days
Hoo-wee! I think Hillary better watch her back. She might just get scooped by another Obama in 2016 – I mean, tears, and everything! This looks like a real throw down from where I’m sitting.
Butt back to the business at hand; as you know, the Senate bowed to MO’s awesomeness and went ahead to pass the gun bill.
Anyway, now that Lady M is an official lobbyist, maybe she could get the Senate to pass the tabled resolution honoring Lady Thatcher, our staunchest ally in the fight against the evil empire. Oh, I forgot; the Dems don’t really believe in fighting evil unless it is the domestic Republican variety.
And closing the week on a high note: look! Lady M is finally getting the Medal of Honor ceremonial clothing right. Except for the fit of course, and the shoes, butt hey! We’ve come a long way baby!
Posthumous Medal of Honor Ceremony,
Sergeant 1st Class Jared Monti, 2009
Posthumous Medal of Honor ceremony for Chaplain (Captain) Emil Kapaun, Korean War veteran (with the benefit of maximum trans-imaging capacity) April, 2013
Stay calm and carry on. Lady Thatcher would have liked that.

Uncle Joe Biden recently mocked Americans who were concerned that the government was trying to take away their Second Amendment rights, referring to us as the “black helicopter crowd.”
Apparently, Uncle Joe didn’t get the memo that the government is already confiscating guns.
The Veterans Administration has sent out tens of thousands of letters to so-called “incompetent” veterans, mandating them to turn in their guns and ammunition. The letter says in part:
A determination of incompetency will prohibit you from purchasing, possessing, receiving, or transporting a firearm or ammunition. If you knowingly violate any of these prohibitions, you may be fined, imprisoned, or both…
Of course, the letter doesn’t actually state what “incompetency” entails, which means a bureaucrat sitting in an office can arbitrarily determine whether to nullify the Second Amendment rights of a veteran.
It is presumed that one of the criteria for disarming a veteran is being diagnosed with PTSD—Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder—a mental condition in which the symptoms are so vague that virtually any veteran can be deemed to have PTSD.
One of the “benefits” of having PTSD, however, is that often the veteran is placed on psychotropic drugs (which is a plus for the drug companies) and a way to disqualify a veteran from owning a gun.
Coincidentally—or not so coincidentally—this is the same strategy being used in New York to disarm citizens.
New York police have begun confiscating guns from anyone taking anti-anxiety medication—that is, psychotropic drugs.
And we learned this week that the State of Missouri has turned over to the Social Security Administration the complete database of Missouri citizens who possess concealed carry permits. It was deemed a “mistake,” although the “mistake” apparently occurred twice. What is clear is that the Feds are trying to match up citizens with so-called “mental problems” who possess a concealed carry permit in order to duplicate what is being done in New York.
Perhaps we’re just a bunch of knuckle-dragging conspiracy theorists for thinking Barry Obama would try to nullify the Second Amendment.
Perhaps it is just a coincidence that there is currently a nationwide shortage of ammunition, which has been blamed on the Obama administration having stockpiled a staggering two billion rounds of ammunition.
Perhaps it is just a coincidence that Obama and his minions are wringing their hands decrying those evil assault weapons, while quietly ordering 7000 AR-15s for the Department of Homeland Security.
And perhaps Fast and Furious really was a mistake. Thousands of assault weapons were probably shipped to Mexican drug cartels because of a few low-level bureaucrats. Eric Holder probably knew nothing about it. Maybe it really wasn’t about blaming gun dealers for the violence in Mexico in order to clamp down on the public being able to purchase guns.
Or maybe, just maybe, Obama is doing what he said he wanted to do while a state senator: to enact a total gun ban.
Goodbye Second Amendment, hello Comrade Obama…

Great idea. And at the end, I have an additional and complementary suggestion.
“If politicians want universal background checks, we should start with them,” said Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
He pointed to recent political scandals in the New York Legislature, which just passed a new restrictive gun control law, where a state senator and state assemblyman were arrested last week, as “one small example.”
“But look at politics in recent years... From state and federal scandals, to arrests involving several members of Mayors Against Illegal Guns, we have had example after embarrassing example of public officials being charged with violating various laws. Does anyone think former Congressman Anthony Weiner, who had to quit his post over a lewd e-mail scandal, should clear a mental health screening to buy a gun?
“If you compare percentages,” he continued, “the rate of criminal activity by politicians is probably far higher than the rate of crimes committed by the general public.
“What this underscores,” he said, “is the reason gun laws don’t work and never will. People who make the laws we have to live under break them anyway, just like criminals routinely disobey gun laws. Based on their own experience, politicians should know that the gun laws they pass will not prevent crime.”
Gottlieb pointed to crooks like former Louisiana Congressman Bill Jefferson, sent to prison after authorities found $90,000 in his freezer during an investigation. He cited former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, now in prison for racketeering and extortion.
“It is both sad and disgraceful that the list goes on and on,” Gottlieb said. “There are politicians with domestic violence problems, others who accepted bribes, some who stole money or were involved in other criminal acts... No wonder citizens are disgusted with politicians and don’t trust them,” he concluded, adding tongue-in-cheek, “And these people want to know why there’s a run on guns and ammunition?”
Further, every member of Congress, every member of the Cabinet and the President him- or herself should be required to attain a Top Secret security clearance, with a CI poly*, as a minimum condition of eligibility for office.
I surmise that, had this condition been in place, a very large percentage of the Democrats currently serving in office would be operating in the private sector. Or teaching. But mostly teaching.
* Counter-intelligence polygraph, used to establish that the subject is not operating against the interests of the United States government.
