As you know, Congress has taken an important first step by agreeing to nearly $40 billion in spending cuts over the rest of current budget year but we have more work to do. I will continue to fight for less spending and lower taxes to revitalize the economy and reduce our national debt.

While I have been focused on doing my job, what has the political machine in Massachusetts been up to? The same old dirty tricks. My opponent ran a nasty smear campaign against me last time and it backfired. But that hasn't stopped the dirty tricksters from going down that same dead-end road again.

Dear Scott and company,
 It was beneficial to support your candidacy at the time the "Kennedy" seat was open and became a democrat cause for celebrity to the next legislator. I supported you expecting a more conservative intelligent legislator. I have been disappointed with your votes the last one being to vote FOR the 2011 budget compromise.
That compromise is ALL democrat . . . . the final analysis of the  "cuts"  falls well below even a couple billion, not the 39 billion being reported by democrats and Republicans together. The advertised "bipartisan" negotiation turns out to be a lopsided victory for liberal progressive democrats. It will bolster their attitude toward foisting another quote, compromise, on the conservative TEA PARTY and real Republicans for 2012 including raising the debt limit. There is NO WAY the debt limit should be raised.
 I don't want compromise on those "principals" which I believe will save our nation from destruction by the super spending liberal progressive democrats. Stopping spending is my goal. Reducing the deficit to ZERO is my target. Amending the constitution to include TERM LIMITS is a necessity. I don't want anymore Kennedys . . . .  too much power. That was NOT the intention of the original framers. They wanted power rested in WE the PEOPLE not individual politicians.
