...the America I grew up in-

killin’ babies was a sin.

Praising God was still okay.

School children bowed their heads to pray.

No more peaceful days of summer-

 no sweet smell of flowers.

Just the stink of evil men

 in their secret ivory towers.

The crazy left is bad enough-

But fighting the deep state: that’s really tough.

Truth can be a bitter pill.

Congress is a sad institution-

 socialism over the Constitution.

With the Democrats gone nuts galore,

Hell knows what’s next in store.

I wear the black for good folks beaten down-

for the homeless Vet  on the seamy side of town-

for friends locked up and out of aces.

Too much injustice in too many places!
