"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

The questions before us then, are thus:

1. If the United States, (the federal government) is bound by this Constitution to protect each state from invasion, then why the hell is the President suing the state of Arizona which is being invaded by foreigners, instead of protecting Arizona?

2. If "domestic violence" ensues as a result of the President’s deliberate negligence, does this President have the authority, under this Constitution, to declare martial law and send federal troops in?

3. Can this President, who swore to uphold the Constitution, having refused to do so, be removed from office for cause?

According to the 'experts' the Feds don't have a prayer of winning this but this is exactly the kind of activity "COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS" [especially those involved with the likes of ACORN] do. Usually, they get their way simply by threatening and the opposition backs down. That isn't likely to happen in this case.

Az. is one of the few states which passed a "Resolution of Sovereignty" under the Tenth Ammendment of the US Constitution. They took it even further when they addressed the role of the military members from the state should the Federal Gov't impose Marshall Law: those people will be required to return to Az and will be under the command of the Governor of that state.

The incredibly stupid part is that the Az law restates the Federal Law. The people of Az have every right, under the Constitution of the United States, to protect their lives, their families and their property. If the Feds won't do it the citizens of Arizona will. I imagine there might even be some help coming in from neighboring states!
