This poem entitled “First They Came” is attributed to Pastor Martin Niemoller:

 

When the Nazis came for the communists,

I remained silent;

I was not a communist.

 

Then they locked up the social democrats,

I remained silent;

I was not a social democrat.

 

Then they came for the trade unionists,

I did not protest;

I was not a trade unionist.

 

Then they came for the Jews,

I did not speak out;

I was not a Jew.

 

When they came for me,

there was no one left to speak out for me.

 

The Pastor who wrote this was ordered arrested by Hitler himself and was held at Sachsenhausen and Dachau concentration camps. Allied troops freed him in 1945.

 

There is a lesson to be learned here and that lesson is this: Waiting to speak up is waiting until it is too late. There is no time like the present to speak up, step up and get active. Once your liberty is gone, your right and ability to assemble and speak out are gone, what will you do? No one, let me repeat that, NO ONE is coming to save you once you are locked up for dissenting. Who are you counting on, the French?

 

There are no excuses in the fight for liberty.

 

There are no excuses in the fight for freedom.

 

There are no excuses in the fight to save the Constitution.

 

There are no excuses in the fight to save America.

 

None.

 

Work hard? Not as hard as you will in a concentration camp, or under a communist regime. No time with your family? You’ll have plenty of time together (unless they ship you to different locations) in concentration camp. Tired? How about sixteen hours making big rocks into little rocks, for the government sponsored highway project they drag you out of camp for each day? Think I’m making this up? So did the Germans and the Jewish in Germany. Re-read the poem above. Close your eyes and remember what you learned about Hitler, he gave great speeches too.

 

Hitler and Obama both took care of dissenters, just ask the Inspector Generals Obama and company have made go away. Hitler took over the auto business, where do you think the Volkswagen came from? The peoples car. We now have GM (Government Motors). Hitler put in the first interstate system. What does Obama want to do for the economy, put you to work building highways. Hitler was a eugenicist, he was willing to use government healthcare to eliminate costly or undesirable people. Obama’s healthcare system sounds strangely similar. Get old, have health issues, born with a costly health issue….bummer, you are too expensive for the care program. He is Hitler without the ovens.

 

As I look around America today, I see a handful of Patriots willing to speak up. I see even fewer willing to take to the streets and protest. I see even fewer willing to do it on a consistent and regular basis. No one is going to save you, but you. Read the poem again. Let it sink in. When they come for you, who will speak for you?

 

Apathy worked for the Germans, if you don’t mind a totalitarian regime. I guess it will work for you too.

Linda, your California has suffered far more than any other state so far. All the damage done by those liberal progressive democrats that control Hollywood and the "GREEN" machine.

California USED to be the land of our dreams . . . . . now it's the land of unions, illegals, and agonizing screams.

I often write letters to my newspaper. I have wrote letters telling neighbors to stand up for property rights. That if you don't stand up for your neighbor, that the govt. is trying to control whether they can sell or build on. You may be next and there won't be anyone to stand up for you. They didn't print my letter.

 

In California, the government went after our farmers in our Central Valley, not to many people stood up. Lots of farmers are losing their property. I believe they are doing this, so we have to buy more food out of our country. California grows, or did grow food for our country and worldwide. Now besides the small fish they are protecting, they have the fishermen fighting the farmers. Our Congresswomen, Boxer and Feinstein had a change to help our farmers, and didn't. I tried to vote Boxer out, but I guess the SEIU counted the ballots in Ca, just like in Nevada for Reid. With the corrupt governor we had, who knows how much fraud had been going on. He stood by and didn't lift one finger to help the famers. Some have had their farms in the family for over 100 years!

Hitler also took the land away from the farmers and gave it to the people. When they didn't know how to farm, he killed them!

I read this poem two and half years ago. I have never forgot it. Because of this poem,  I understand to stand up for Israel right now. I have tried to make people understand, how Obama is using the Unions to do his dirty work. But when it all comes down, he won't stand up for the Unions, they will be thrown under the bus with the rest of us. Hitler did the same thing!

 

Obama is doing the same things as Hitler, down to his Obamacare, taking over the car companies. I believe we are in so much debt because he is taking over our companies. He is using our money to take over our country. He is using our money (some borrowed) to start revolutions all over the world. Whoever doesn't agree with the direction Obama and his handlers want them to go will be destroyed.

I been ready over three years go my friend, reason why I work so hard, became sleepless and on the process the best thing of all, lost weight, lol

  But I can assure you of this, because this war we fight, I have found the best patriots this Nation have, if were not because what we're enduring, I will never know that such wonderful people are part of this Nation, one must ask why is so beloved by those that love it, it's because the true patriots out there, as yourself. Thank you!
