One Of Mayors Against Illegal Guns’ Arrested For Trying to Force Man to Have Sex With Him … at Gunpoint

One of the gun-grabbing members of Michael Bloomberg’s organization, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, recently found himself trying to lure a man into a sexual encounter through the liberal use of alcohol. When the charm and alcohol didn’t do the trick, James ‘Jay’ Schiliro (R) decided to go a different route – firing a handgun into a wall in an attempt at intimidation.

The mayor who, as the title suggests, is against illegal guns, was forced to hand over his firearm collection, and has been charged with several crimes.

A member of the Michael Bloomberg-sponsored gun control organization “Mayors Against Illegal Guns” has been arrested and charged in connection with a handgun incident at his home.

James Schiliro, a.k.a. Jay Schiliro, the mayor of Marcus Hook, a small town in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, faces charges of official oppression, reckless endangerment, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, and furnishing a minor with alcohol. He surrendered to authorities on Thursday morning, and his attorney declared that “we intend to fight these charges.”

Sen. John McCain (R-Sunday Shows) expressed bewilderment on CBS’ “Face the Nation” that GOP Sens. Cruz, Lee and Paul would filibuster gun control legislation. “I don’t understand it,” McCain said. “The purpose of the United States Senate is to debate and to vote and to let the people know where we stand.” With all due respect to Sen. McCain, that is almost completely backward.

The purpose of the US Senate is not to be some federal debating society. It is not tasked with taking the great issues of the day and giving its “august” members a platform for their musings on policy. The public does not look to the Senate for guidance in its deliberations on the issues.

The Senate’s first, and only, task is to uphold the Constitution. Originally, the Senate was designed to act as the states’ check on an encroaching federal government. Senators were appointed by state legislatures to be their voice in Washington. The House was designed to be the voice of the people. Sadly, those days are long gone.

President Obama’s second-term drive for so-called immigration reform and a bipartisan group of U.S. senators working to craft an immigration deal are not enough for the Communist Party USA.

The domestic communist group is calling for “street heat,” including civil disobedience, to demand passage of comprehensive legislation that “would keep families together” and include a path to citizenship for “the 11 million undocumented immigrants currently in the country.”

The sentiments were expressed in an article by the People’s World, the official magazine of the Communist Party USA. An online piece on the People’s World daily website was titled “Progress toward immigration bill? Not without “street heat.”

Exclaimed the article: “There are reports of progress in labor-business negotiations over new immigration reform legislation. But ‘street heat’ is essential to keep the effort from failing once more.”
