Our loyal friend, Mr. PHILIP SCHNEIDER, has been an honored Member since 13, November 2009.

PHILIP has been a trusted administrator for this site, and an enthusiastic contributor, who has posted 1,943 articles, all of which have been salient, prescient and timely...and at times, very entertaining as well as always being informative.

He has, over the years, become a beloved and trusted friend to many of you, and considers all of you an important part of his life. Many of you view PHILIP as a familiar presence in your lives, almost as a beloved family member.

Since January this year, PHILIP suffered two strokes. He informs us that despite all, he is fighting back with therapy, and expects, in the fullness of time, to make a full recovery.

He has served ALL of us voluntarily and selflessly with his insights into the vital issues of the day, and has been a vigilant protector of the Traditional American Values we all hold dear.

Thank you Uncle Sam for sharing with all of our members here at REAL CONSERVATIVES about my recent health issues.

 At age 75 I haven't paid much attention to my overall health because I so seldom have any serious complications.

 However on January 20 of this year the complications of heart, lung, and digestion illness caused a mess even I couldn't straighten out. My constant companion watched me crumple to the bathroom floor while I prepared to take us out to a movie.

 She was able to summon an ambulance and fire rescue rig who recognized immediately that I was suffering a stroke.

 I was immediately transported to the ER at Texoma Medical Center where I received immediate stroke protocol including infusion of the latest and greatest stroke busting medication labeled TPA . It worked perfect. The blood clot was reduced in size and the artery was opened up and the blood flow returned to my brain.

 Unfortunately though My body had an anaphylactic reaction to the TPA medication and my breathing apparatus began to swell shut. The ER crew had to intubate me to open an airway. That was successful. For 8 hours they worked to stabilize my stroke damage and heart and lungs.

I was transferred to the intensive care area the next day and began to recover with the help of OT staff and in another 7 days I was transferred to a rehab facility.

 I was released to  return home after an additional 5 days of rehab. I thoughT I worked hard at home and here on REAL CONSERVATIVES,  I had no idea those nice nurses and occupational therapy people were going to make me work so hard. They all told me they were committed to returning me to within 99.5% of my original capability.

 I think now that I will.

 I'm glad to be here in front of all you REAL CONSERVATIVES typing to you and sharing some of my personal life.

Laying like trapped animal in that hospital bed listening to the liberal world crashing together on the TV, was VERY hard to do without being able to throw something at all those Tide Pod eaters. Yoy KNOW what I mean.

Let me offer some advice I learned from my stroke damage.

Stay healthy as long as you can. Be productive be an achiever, set an example, join in the fight with President Trump to what ever level you can. You all know we're in a mess and no one is going to do the dirty work for us, this is OUR fight and we're ready.

I am so sorry to hear about your health problems and you are in my prayers! Keep up the hard work - the brain is an amazing organ and that hard work WILL create new pathways to give you your function back.
