If we are to talk about "mental illness" then that should include you Sgt. Schultz because we really believe that you need some real "help"!

Mr. Joe Zamudio seems to be a grat guy. it's obious to me that he's been guided well, regarding riht and wrong. I'm certain he has had certain individuals (guardian/parents, grandparents, etc.), that have positively grounded this mature and respectful young men. Our nation's youth needs more constructive influnces in their lives.

Mr. Zamudio is quite a spokesman for the logic of gun ownership and against those who think outlawing guns will end chaos and  horror like that which occurred in Tucson Arizona.

He also brings attention to the fact that we have a problem with mental patients walking among the general population. We used to have the answer by institutionalizing mental patients but the supreme court, in all of it's wisdom, canceled that policy.

 Congress . . . .  and We the People have not addressed the problem ever since.

If Obama wants to make a mark in history, step and down from the office of president and become an advocate for the mentally ill.

I wonder who actually wrested the gun from Loughner's hand- the person(s) who really stopped the bloodshed? Yes, I understand there was a problem with a spring in the magazine, but given a few more seconds, Loughner may have fixed it.  

 

And thank heaven Zamudio didn't off the poor guy holding Loughner's gun. Joe's a great guy, a hero to be sure- but this is just another lamestream media example (including Joe's interview with Hannity last night) where getting out a snappy story overshadows the search for what really transpired...
