Comment by Elizabeth Parella on September 13, 2009 at 11:07am: What we can do to show the country as a whole, and to show the mainstream media what is REALLY going on at these townhall meetings and at the president's speeches as he campaigns his way across America to push for his agenda which will bankrupt our glorious nation:

Each of us, when we know of a speech Obama will give and where it will be given, should attend said meeting and take photos of the attendees and, more specifically, the parking areas to see if folks are arriving in buses which demonstrates an ORGANIZED attendance rather than the free-spirited townhall meetings we as conservatives have attended. We look at the photos purveyed by the mainstream media...but we only see the folks standing (or sitting) BEHIND "The One." What about the other members of the audience....who ARE they...where do they COME FROM...how did they GET THERE?

There are those who are still on the fence on many issues regarding Obama-nomics. They look at the news broadcasts and say, oh, look at all those people...listen to the sheep baa-ing in favor of our president. If folks saw that the SEIU and other UNIONS and ACORN represented the majority of attendees, that would tell folks a great deal about this so-called leader we have elected to run our country along with his Progressive minions.

Just food for thought.... In New York City, there are NO TOWNHALL meetings, so I'm stuck. But when we've moved to Florida, the opportunities will be glorious!

Comment by Elizabeth Parella on September 13, 2009 at 10:55am: Geraldo has, in his inimitable way, raised the spectre of racism with his comment that Joe Wilson's outcry was racist! RACIST? Well, I suppose if you believe that all white people are racist, then you have that belief...but his outcry was the TRUTH. Where was the outrage when George Bush was BOOED with his State of the Union address before both houses in 2005 (which Mike Huckabee brought up)? The silence was DEAFENING....
