I agree with you and Trump Valerie . . . .  but millions of We the People have all agreed (those of us with any street smarts and willingness to get off our collective BUTTS and get a real job) a long time ago, you can't spend money you don't have and you can't spend other peoples money without their consent. All this falls under the doctrine of . . . .COMMON SENSE something they obviously DON"T teach at HAH HAH vard.

The result is always failed policy, bankruptcy, and disaster. Our job is to get our politicians to follow our lead.

There are two ways, in my view, to impact any economy, ie, contraction or expansion. The first involve serious cuts and although short term it seems to be the answer, cutting is limited to the bone. The second increases the resource base by promoting and generating more income. Trump is exactly correct when he says if the economy were allowed to grow w/o governmental interference the funds it would provide would work to minimize the former, that is contraction.

 Even when running a household in financial difficulty the choices are to cut to the bone (austerity) or bring in more money. Those are the only two approaches that I can see. And in this case I totally agree with Trump. We need to unleash our national ability to generate income.
