We must be ever-vigilant to defeat three bills in Congress: (1) Healthcare for all; (2) Cap & Trade (a regressive tax on the American public); and (3) Card Check which will cripple small businesses as well as medium-sized.

If the Congress is so interested in creating jobs in an arena in which job losses rise every month by the hundreds of thousands, why in heck would they consider three of the most onerous and regressive bills which will CRUSH not only the American people but small business as well??? Their agenda is peculiar at best and criminal at worst.

Healthcare we all know about.... Before changing the system a la what Obama wants, why not try a few things that would have NO IMPACT on 70 percent of the American public which currently has healthcare insurance, to wit:

(1) TORT reform. (Doctors and hospitals pay HUGE amounts of money for malpractice insurance. Tort reform would go a long way towards reducing those costs. If someone brings a FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT, make the person pay the expenses of the other side...that would cut down on those ridiculous lawsuits.)

(2) Tear down the FENCES that exist at the state level so that an insurance company in Colorado could compete in New York State. (I've read that in New Jersey, for example, a 25-year-old man pays FIVE TIMES the insurance premium of a 25-year-old man in Kentucky. WHY???) In Connecticut there is evidently one company which writes the majority of healthcare insurance; in New Jersey there are two; and in New York there are two. If we could get more insurance companies competing for insurance premiums, that would be of benefit to all.

(3) GRAFT & CORRUPTION: If the Congress is hell-bent on spending tax dollars not yet received, invest in more investigators so they can investigate the fraud and corruption within Medicare and Medicaid. Every now and again you read stories of clinics and/or individual doctors ripping off the existing system of government-run healthcare, some to the tune of tens of millions of dollars, and one group recently over $100 million! Insurance companies have their own investigators who do this on their behalf...why can't the Federal government do better? (it's never too late to become a more competently-run government after all.)

Let's all get involved and stay involved and stop the madness! Our Senators and Congresspeople were elected by US....they REPORT TO US, not to lobbyists and special interests.

We may be labeled lunatics for being involved in the direction this country is headed in, but so be it. I'd rather be called a lunatic of any stripe rather than a lily-livered idiot who just rolls over and gets steamrolled!

I love how everyone is standing up to this administration. From all walks of life, from all age groups. I talk to everyone everywhere I go, everyone agrees that what this government is doing is against the American people and they need to be thrown out of office.

This is good but Obama and gang do not care and don't have the guts to inspire good.Please understand the guns are the last alternative,and the last alternative is coming faster then we admit.
