I was laughing listening to Schumer. Who is he trying to fool? What a joke! What about the ACORN voter fraud in 12 or 14 states in the 2008 election, who did that benefit? The Democrats. What about the thug style tactics by ACORN and SEIU at town halls this past summer? Trying to bully and intimidate patriotic Americans trying to exercise their "freedom of speech". Weren't they paid by the Democrat party to go to the town halls and behave in such a deplorable way? The "left" always whines and cries when anybody stands up to them, or uses the same tactics against them (community organizing) to keep them from cheating and stealing elections.

Mr. Schumer is wrong and he stands before us wagging his arrogant finger thinking we're too ignorant to understand what really happened.
What the supreme court did was LEVEL the playing field and Mr. Schumer knows that less money will flow into the coffers of the democrat party. The democrat party was behind the original McCain/ Feingold legislation. McCain in one of his "liberal" thinking bi-partisan moments, thought he had the right combination of controls and regulations to take big money out of campaigns.
He was wrong, the legislation was wrong. The campaign finance playing field got worse instead of better and the country is now more divided than ever.
The supreme court, judging the MacCain/Feingold legislation against the logic and power of the amendments of our original constitution, correctly found the law to be unconstitutional.
The democrats will have to find yet another way to cheat at politics. Don't worry, they will . . . . ACORN???? YOU still out there????
