Arlen Spector . . . . . another reason the constitution needs a "term limits" amendment.
This slimy politico changes party's like Obama changes teleprompters. He's been around since the Kennedy assassination, it's time, he's gotta go.
I can't respect a man whose loyalty changes with the political wind and who gauges his chances for election dependent upon on who is the weakest challenge in either party. What a way to make a living.
Even in the Massachusetts election where it was clear where the nation was headed, Spector was on the wrong side.
He is running for re-election in November. He's on my list to defeat. I HAVE to help the opposition no matter WHO it will be.

Specter lends a hand to Coakley

Democrats are quivering at the prospect of Martha Coakley losing the Senate race in Massachusetts on Tuesday and turning over Ted Kennedy's seat to a Republican. So for Democrats, it's all hands on deck in these final days.

That includes our very own Republican turned Democrat Arlen Specter who is lending out his campaign staff to Coakley on Monday night. On his campaign Web site he invites volunteers to his headquarters in Harrisburg for pizza and a phone drive to support Coakley.

Democrats are not taking any chances. Losing that seat could give the Republicans the extra vote they need to kill the health care bill. President Obama is heading to Massachusetts on Sunday to campaign alongside Coakley.

Things aren't looking good. Coakley is down in the polls, even her own.

Coakley lost, the country won. Now it's Arlen's Spector's turn for disappointment and retirement.
