I must tell you that I am pretty much sick and tired of all of the old pols who drool when they hear of another election. All it means to them is which side gets to have the power and attend the fancy parties in DC.
Unless we remove ALL of these people from any sort of power in our government there will be no changes made...............EVER!
One of the very LAST people I ever want to hear any kind of moral advise from is Newt Gingrich. His [ex] wife was hospitalized, recieving cancer treatments and good old Newt was out messing with Calista and now the two of them are preaching to us about morality and family values........ I BEG YOUR FLIPPING PARDON!!!!!!!!!!!
I've had enough of "Do as I SAY, NOT as I DO"........If you refuse to walk the walk then remove yourself from any public view, keep your opinions to yourself and make your own peace with God. You forfieted your position as any kind of leader when you decided to forsake your vows that you took before God to pursue someone more interesting. GO HOME, live your life and stop trying to sound and look paternal and wise......................it is not working for you.........REALLY!
Another 'Go to Guy" I have a problem with is Dick [the TOE SUCKER] Morris. Known far and wide as a 'Republican strategist' but who worked diligently for Bill Clinton [last I checked he was NOT a member of that party] and was exposed for being caught with some hooker and sucking on her toes....................OK, maybe not a really TERRIBLE habbit but a considerable leap from Clinton Advisor to Toe Sucker [there IS a relationship there, sad to say] to Republican Pundit.................?!?!
Exactly which step have I missed here?!? The part I haven't missed is that he, too is willing to sell himself to the highest bidder. I can accept that it is the world's 'oldest profession' but, REALLY, MUST we get our political advise from them?!?!
I started listening to Glenn Beck shortly after 9/11/01 and was impressed with his style but most of all his honesty, his humility and his ability to admit that he doesn't have all of the answers, unlike all of the other :"PUNDITS".
What Glenn has to offer is the way to ask the questions and the intellegence to recognise that God's answers often come in crooked lines that we, as individuals with free wills and intellects can look at and study to learn His lessons to find the path He has prepared for us.
Please, pray for 'clarity' for Glenn and for all of us but also for healing and safety for someone so willing to carry the Lord's banner in these difficult times. Glenn said that he was looking for another George Washington. Another with Washington's honor and courage.........he need only look in a mirror to see that man.
He has stirred the hearts and minds of hundreds of thousands of American Citizans. People from all races and all ages and all walks of life. He has given us the courage to stand up and face those who would take our freedom from us without fear because we understand the intent of the Founders when they wrote the documents that gave rise to the greatest nation in the history of the Earth.
