Barney has a right to live his life however he wants. But, my problem with "Hate Crimes" legislation is that it gives people with very perverted behaviors (including the molestation or rape of young boys) special protection. It would force ministers to perform wedding ceremonies for "gay" people when it goes against their beliefs and the truth of God's word. It would stifle free speech for pastors to speak the truth of God's word for the pulpit. It would allow gay people to enter churches, create a scene (basically do whatever they feel like) and anyone who tried to stop them could get prosecuted. I know it's the few radicals who act in that way. But, this is a very dangerous, perverse piece of legislation.
