Well, we knew this all along, didn’t we?
Here is video of outgoing Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi saying plainly today that passage of ObamaCare was really not about bringing Health Coverage to every American. She said at a News Conference today that even if everyone in America had coverage and was happy with that coverage, “it still would have been necessary for us to pass the Health Care Reform bill.”
Her excuse? Because the current system is “not sustainable.” Yet, they have passed a 2000+ page monstrosity that no one even knows all that it contains – that will create a system that will be so burdensome on the Government that it will never be sustainable!
All through the debate on ObamaCare, Democrats kept saying it was about covering the millions in America without coverage. But in reality, it was always about growing Government, and increasing the power and reach of Government in the everyday lives of Americans.
