HIPAA and cash payments applies to hospitals as well. The insurance companies and the corporations are the winners in Obamacare. Look at all the money the insurance companies are saving now that everyone has a $5000 to $10,000 deductible on average. The majority of people never hit the lifetime maximum yet now they will have cough up big bucks each year that the insurance companies usually covered with a $250 deductible. And look at how much money the average corporation is saving by cutting its workforce and going to part time workers - they not only save on insurance but are pocketing huge amounts of money by not paying out benefits. And where I work they fired tons of workers and then hired them back at lower wages - does Obama really think these people can afford Obamacare?. And the rest of us have to do double or triple duty at work to make up the lost workers and we live in fear for our jobs. And yes Obama set this up so the elites win. The heads of these corporations will be able to pay for whatever they want - their bonuses are increasing and if it gets too rough they just quit and take their millions of dollars in bonuses and live out their lives in luxury.And all to insure a couple of million people who don't want to be insured and won't sign up because they will now have to pay for care that they used to get written off. And hard working Americans will put off procedures and actually get sicker because they can't afford to get treated and pay the deductible.

When you SEE the details of how much it's going to cost, you realize how horrible Obamacare REALLY is. Obama has done well keeping the details hidden until yesterday. Now the  _ _ _ _ is going to hit the fan.

Just FYI

The HIPAA law just changed and if you pay cash for any of your healthcare, the facility or doctor can NOT send those records to your health insurance company without your permission. Who changed the law and was it voted on by congress or just passed by HHS? If Obama ruined all of our lives and ruined our health insurance to prevent the insurance companies from denying us coverage based on pre-existing conditions then why did this clause need to be added to HIPAA?

Don't forget that if you are forced into the exchanges or go voluntarily then you lose the ability to lower your income for your taxes because work related health insurance is mostly taken out PRE-taxes. Once you enter the exchanges your health insurance is calculated POST taxes thus increasing the amount you will be paying to the IRS. Obama is sticking it to the hard working US citizen every chance he can. And instead of bringing everyone up, he is lowering every worker's standard of living so we are all the "same". And the reason everyone's deductibles are going sky high from $5000 to $10,000 a year is because of dear old Obama who had to make the insurance system "fair". How many people with a family and a mortgage or even rent, car payment etc are going to be able to afford the deductible when they get sick and are hospitalized? The hospitals make you pay up front so these people are in for a  huge surprise when they show up for their procedures. How many people will forgo care because they can't afford the deductible payment? So you get a free mammogram tomorrow but your appendix bursts the next week and you are looking at a $4000 bill for your deductible. You don't have a lifetime cap on your insurance but you are now paying a $5000 to $13,000 out of pocket deductible each year. The insurance companies stand to make way more this way and we the people are subsidizing the unlimited lifetime payments while the insurance companies pocket the profits. Way to go Obama!!!

And look at what happened to this guy. I don't know if it is true, but it wouldn't surprise me if Obama bullies everyone into joining.  Beware even if you just play around on the exchange website, they are collecting your data:
