The Obama Assault on Wall Street -- Who Was Applauding?

A very interesting article in Saturday's New York Post (with all the news that's fit to print...and also some that's not fit, but politically it's a great paper for me!) written by Meghan Clyne put the address of "The One" to the Wall Street Community firmly in perspective.

His "fixing Wall Street" speech was focused primarily on blaming Wall Street for the economic ills the country is now going through. I could not stomach listening to the whole thing but did pick up a bit of it with the same old/same old mantra of the Teleprompter in Chief, and I heard APPLAUSE! Applause? From Wall Street? I thought, my, my, that's interesting.

Apparently the administration saw fit to invite a number of attendees to this speech (as is done at likely every other speech...and there are so many!....). The attendees consisted of Democratic donors, community organizers, and financial "gurus" who contributed a ton of money to Obama. Penny Pritzker ws there, a local New York singer was there, Daniel Mintz was there, the campaign director of MoveOn.org Political action), and Andy Tobias.

Having read this, one could well understand that the crowd was ecstatic with "The One's" speech... It had the same-old/same-old attendees who are at every other danged speech he makes.

I've long been confused about the wild applause heard before, during, and after "The One's" speeches, but am confused no longer. (I know, I know, I'm a bit naive). But in the event there are others out there who were perplexed, here's the answer!

LOL, Wayne. I read the item twice in the paper but could find nary a mention of his name. I suppose he's too busy making up stuff for his suit against the network he used to work for...tis a time-consuming venture to be sure!

The bus has now become a rather large convoy of buses....it might well stretch across the United States and then back again by the time all is said and done... The body count is rising, with no end in sight.
