SCOTUS upholds (another) injunction against HHS Mandate…

(CUSA) – On the heels of the Hobby Lobby decision and the reinstatement of the EWTN injunction, the Supreme Court has upheld another injunction, this time for Wheaton College which objects to providing contraceptives based on religious beliefs.

The court held that no school employees were prohibited from getting contraceptives at little or no cost just about anywhere.

Nothing in this interim order affects the ability of the applicant’s employees and students to obtain, without cost, the full range of FDA approved contraceptives.

The absurdity of the liberal position is made clear when in her dissent, Justice Sotomayor exclaims her “deep respect for religious faith” but insists that the judiciary should just get out of the way and let the government do its job:

It is not the business of this Court to ensnare itself in the Government’s ministerial handling of its affairs in the manner it does here.

This legally meritless and desperate plea makes it a near surety that the HHS mandate will fall everywhere that individuals gathered together proclaim their faith however they are formed under the law.

The unwillingness of the Federal Government to grant exemptions to believers was a motivating factor in the birth of CatholicismUSA. That and the ever increasing war on Christians that is taking place at home and abroad.
