Many large cougars can get themselves out of these small traps but this one needed a little assistance. Since it was in a remote area Mark didn’t want to waste time going back to the main office to get a tranquilizer gun so he decided to releas the cougar without sedating it. The cougar was successfully released and only had some minor bleeding on it’s paw. A job well done by officer Ekins.
