NEVER TOLERATE TYRANNY!....Conservative voices from the GRASSROOTS.
"...always be someone's Hero"
" Hello there! Hoping you have enjoyed
REAL CONSERVATIVES as much
as I have enjoyed bringing it to you! "
- Ray A @ REAL CONSERVATIVES
As many of you know. I founded this site in April, 2009, at the dawning of a very dark era in our Nation's fabulous history, from 2009 to 2016. My intent was to provide a powerful voice for all REAL CONSERVATIVES, as opposed to the FAKE Conservatives who had begun infiltrating our most revered institutions, expressing in vivid terms our commitment to those Values we as Americans hold so dear to our hearts, Traditional American Values, from the grassroots of our great peoples.
That was a challenge then, but nothing compared to the current set of challenges I now face. Over a year ago, I was informed that I had Advanced Stage Lung Cancer, and the prognosis, in the absence of any treatment was approximately one year. With the loving support of my Family and my Friends, I'm still here, and, with you, who I also count as my Friends.
Rush Limbaugh was recently diagnosed with the same condition, and my thoughts and prayers are with him, too, as I am all too familiar with the kind of challenge he now faces. I'm no Rush Limbaugh though, and the world will scarcely know when comes my departure from it.
But just as this present trial is but merely a new challenge in this amazing adventure we know as "Life", and the recent venture of creating this site, this Voice for Real Conservatives to which you have been a loyal Member these many years, there were other challenges I have faced that I can recall from a far more distant past.
There was another challenge I faced many years before the present circumstance I now find myself in, that dwarfed even the foregoing.
It is that time when I found myself going against a monolithic, mindless, and soulless bureaucracy on behalf of an abandoned, medically needy child who needed more earthly help than I ever knew I was capable of rendering.
The details of THAT struggle are far too complicated to attempt to describe here, in this brief forum. It had always been my intention to write about it, someday, when I had a "...little more time". Now, that someday has come, and though I truly have "...a little more time" left, I am making the first draft of that story available to you.
This last work, describing an old challenge, is a statement. A statement that carries a profound message, "Never give up" and like the portrait at he beginning of this post, depicting The Man of LaMancha, Cervantes/Donquixote, it urges the reader to follow their dreams, no matter how impossible those dreams may be....because Impossible Dreams often do come to life in the presence of a lot of faith and a little bit of hope.
What follows is the ForeWord to the book I am publishing here, first, for you, my loyal Members.
It is entitled:
" CIVILIAN CASUALTIES...the village sleeps tonight "
There is an Order Form attached to the end of this posting, should you choose to order an e-copy for yourself, in PDF format.
This is a serious work that is published with the Hope that others will read it and heed the grim message that it heralds to an otherwise unsuspecting public, who blithely dismiss the danger of raw, unchecked governmental power, with no true watchdogs and/or mostly timid or dishonest whistle blowers.
...and it is a brutally true story.
This is a story about money. Your money. And how other people want your money.
To understand why nameless, faceless, “other people” want your money, you must first understand what your money is, and is not.
Reach in your pocket, right now, and pull out the highest denominated currency you have. Look at it. What you see is a piece of paper with ink on it. The ink is configured artfully, but certainly you do not carry this paper around because you appreciate the artwork contained on it. You do not possess this paper because of the intricate engraving, showing one of the various presidents on its face, and some form of governmental architecture on the back.
The only reason you carry this paper around in your pocket, guarding it against various perils such as theft, loss, and the like is that it represents your lifetime . I say “lifetime ” in the sense that each minute you exist, you are either working to earn that currency bill, or spending it. It represents some part of that continuum in time you think of as your life-your existence.
Money gives you the power to do as you please. It gives you the security you need to plan your future existence. It affords you a degree of confidence in your ability to survive into an unknown, uncertain future. The more of it you accumulate, the more certain you can be in your future fate. You buy insurance with it to guarantee that your family will continue to have more of it should something fatal happen to you. You borrow it based on yours, and others, speculation that you will continue to accumulate it in the future. You trade it for things you want. You trade it for things you need. You store it in banks, C.D.’s, Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Money Markets, and Insurance policies. Other people pay you to use your money. A bank will pay you interest (reverse rent) for your money so that they can loan it to strangers, charging them a rental fee larger than the rent they pay you. And then, there’s the Government.
The Government charges you rent, with an income tax, because you exist,. The Government does not need to assure you of anything. All it needs to do in a democracy is to promise you stuff. Free Stuff. It will make all sorts of promises, in the form of laws, that are designed to get you to part with some of your money (and remember, your money is the material proof that you exist). Once these “promises”, laws, are ratified by the Government, they must be funded with your money, your existence, so that the Government can exist even after you cease to exist. Faceless people who actually feel they own a piece of your very existence.
The government is not that mythical “village” that watches over us. They don’t trust you, even with your own children. They shame you when you want to home school them, or send them to private school, because you don’t trust them. And because they want to indoctrinate the youth, at an early age.
All government does is WATCH us. If you want to be left alone, anonymous, they suspect you, and brand you as a “loner”. If you want to have the means to protect your life and property, they discourage you. Contrary to our Declaration of Independence, it abhors any spirit of individualism. It hates people who fancy themselves as “independent”. It wants the people to depend on them. Its what gives it power. If you want to discover the Truth about government skullduggery, and how it will viciously guard its power “follow the money”.
It’s a jungle out there, and the animals in it are legions of smiling faces, all intent on convincing you that they know what’s best for you,,,but not you. You know little or nothing of the intricacies of life. Leave it to them. They are the professionals. Except that, one day, you may wake up to the stark reality of that jungle...and find that those “smiling faces” , themselves, were nothing more than dumb animals in a macabre, pretentious zoo.
...and no, Hillary, it does not “take a village” to raise a child. It takes PARENTS.
