(Salon) – A former FBI agent and current anti-Islam activist believes that John Brennan, President Obama’s pick to head the CIA, is secretly a Muslim and therefore “unfit for duty” in the government.

On Friday, John Guandolo, the vice president of the Virginia-based Strategic Engagement Group (SEG), appeared on the Boca Raton-based radio show of Tom Trento, the president of the anti-”Shariah Islam” group The United West, formerly the Florida Security Council. Guandolo described how Brennan has supposedly “interwoven his life professionally and personally with individuals that we know are terrorists and he has given them access” to top officials in the federal government and “brought known Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood leaders into the government and into advisory positions.”

Guandolo continued that what “some would say is most disturbing, Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on behalf of the United States when he served in Saudi Arabia” and it “was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him” by foreign operatives.

In an email to supporters, Trento hyped the interview, referencing the “very brave Michele Bachmann” who recently accused Hillary Clinton’s aide Huma Abedin of having ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Trento continued with the caveat that the “organized left” will probably say things like “Trento & Guandolo are Islamophobic haters who have no credibility” and “Show me proof, I mean real proof, not just overwhelming circumstantial evidence” and “Big deal so the head of the CIA is a Muslim, who cares?” Trento offers a response to one of those statements: “We care – because Islam, by DEFINITION, is BOTH a religion and a POLITICAL system. Moreover, by DOCTRINE, full allegiance to the political mandate of Islam (world domination) SUPERCEDES allegiance to anything else, including the United States of America!”

"Did the president ever pick up the phone and call anyone in the Libyan government to help these folks? What did the president do?"

In response to Bob Schieffer’s question about whether he would put a hold on the nominations if he didn’t get answers from the White House, Graham responded,
"Yes, I’m going to ask my colleagues, just like they did with John Bolton, Joe Biden said no confirmation without information."

U.S. Missiles used by Muslim Terrorists against Israel?

In yet another failure of Hillary Clinton's abuse of power, American-made missiles sold to Egypt were sent to the Gaza strip, intended for use by terrorists to kill Jews in Israel. Thankfully, they were intercepted, as the Jerusalem Post reports:

"Egyptian security forces in the Sinai Peninsula intercepted a shipment of American-made anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles destined for the Gaza Strip, Palestinian news agency Ma'an and Egyptian media reported on Friday.

"After receiving intelligence on the weapons shipment, the Egyptian Interior Ministry raided the location south of El-Arish, Ma'an reported. According to the report, security forces discovered six US-manufactured missiles being prepared for smuggling into the Palestinian coastal strip. The missiles were 75cm long, with a 40cm diameter and a range of two kilometers, Ma'an reported.

"Although not explicitly mentioned in the Israel-Hamas cease-fire agreement that ended hostilities between the two late last year, statements by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu indicated that arrangements were being made with Egypt and the US to stymie the smuggling of materiel into Gaza."

UN votes to seize Jerusalem for Muslims. Sign petition to defend Israel.

In yet another failure of the Obama Administration's foreign policy, the United Nations General Assembly voted 138 yes, 9 no, and 41 abstain, to divide Jerusalem and seize much of Israel, declaring "Palestine" an independent non-voting member nation.

Violating international law that forbids taking away land previously given to Israel by the UN in 1948 (and given to Israel by Almighty God before the beginning of time), the only major nations to vote "no" were the USA, Canada, and Israel. Britain and Germany abstained, while France, Spain, Italy, and Switzerland all voted yes.

Hamas immediately repeated how they do not recognize Israel as a state, ignoring history. Yesterday's vote "was taken on the 65th anniversary of the vote to divide the former British mandate of Palestine into two states, one Jewish and one Arab, a vote Israel considers the international seal of approval for its birth," reported the NY Times.

[Dr. Chaps' comment: This proves in 1948 the UN already gave Arabs land called Palestine, which is trans-Jordan. The Muslims still have that Jordanian land today, so how dare the UN seize more Jewish land?]

Our friend Jay Sekulow warned this new declaration will make Israeli citizens vulnerable to lawsuits in the International Criminal Court. His brother Jordan Sekulow warns of the folly of rewarding Muslims with more land for their recent violence. "Not only did Arab Palestinians reject the principles laid out for the creation of two states in 1947, while Jewish Palestinians accepted them, Arabs immediately attacked the new Israeli state and there has been a perpetual state of conflict ever since. One need only be reminded of the Palestinian rockets that rained down on Israeli civilians a little over a [month] ago."

[Dr. Chaps' comment: If Israeli citizens can now be tried for crimes, why not prosecute the Muslims that launch rockets from Gaza into Tel Aviv in that same International Criminal Court? They wanted membership, so let the "Palestinian" Muslims be tried for crimes, in their new International Court.]

Hillary Clinton: "Forget Israel or Congress, I'm funding Palestine anyway."

In an act of open defiance of the U.S. Constitution, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton took direct aim against Israel this week, and bypassed Congress to violate U.S. law, by unilaterally appropriating $147 million of your tax-dollars to the Palestinians.

The United States Constitution (art. I. § 9) says: "No money shall be drawn from the treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law." (In other words, Congress, not Hillary has power of the purse.)

U.S. Law, quoted in a 407 to 6 vote last year for H.Res 268, says: "Resolved: That the House of Representatives...reaffirms the United States statutory requirement precluding assistance to a Palestinian Authority that includes Hamas unless that Authority and all its ministers publicly accept Israel's right to exist and all prior agreements and understandings with the United States and Israel."

Since the P.A. abrogated the Oslo Accords and sought independence unilaterally, the Palestinians are no longer eligible for U.S. tax dollars, period, under U.S. law.

Enter Hillary Clinton, who flauts both law and Constitution this week. National Journal:

"Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is allowing U.S. funds to flow to the West Bank and Gaza despite a hold by House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairwoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, R-Fla., a rare display of executive-branch authority that angered the key lawmaker concerned about protecting her congressional oversight role.

"A State Department official said that a letter was delivered on Tuesday to key members of Congress informing them of Clinton's decision to move forward with the $147 million package of the fiscal year 2011 economic support funds for the Palestinian people, despite Ros-Lehtinen's hold. Administrations generally do not disburse funding over the objections of lawmakers on relevant committees...

" 'The U.S. has given $3 billion in aid to the Palestinians in the last five years alone, and what do we have to show for it?' Ros-Lehtinen said on Wednesday in a statement to National Journal. 'Now the administration is sending even more. Where is the accountability for U.S. taxpayer dollars?'

"Ros-Lehtinen earlier said she was disappointed that the administration 'would employ hardball tactics against Congress and threaten to send, over congressional objection, U.S. taxpayer dollars to the Palestinian Authority.'"

Where does Hillary seize power to violate federal law, and spend our tax money without Congressional approval?

War begins in Israel. Palestinians launch 80 rockets to kill more Jews.

YnetNews reports: "The Israeli Defense Force estimates that over 80 rockets have been fired at Israel since Friday, 65 exploded in the south. A Home Front Command official said: 'The Command's instructions have proven to save lives and they should be followed. When an alarm is sounded or if there is an explosion – enter a safety area.' Israelis are also instructed to avoid large gatherings of more than 500."

Reports of 5 Israeli civilian casualties, including at least 1 fatality, came with reports the U.S.-built "Iron Dome" anti-missile system helped stop just 20 of the 80 incoming rockets.

The Israeli Defense Force took out a terrorist cell of 12 Islamic Jihad operatives, watch video here. As we reported last year, most Palestinian or Gaza rockets were built by Iran.

I've been warning for a year that President Obama's lukewarm, milktoast, pro-Muslim stance would incite a war against Israel. The war has already begun. But will America stand by our closest ally? Sadly, no, President Obama will not.

But the U.S. Congress can over-ride and stand firm with Israel, if we petition them.

One of the FBI’s former top experts on Islam has announced that President Obama’s pick to head the Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan, converted to Islam years ago in Saudi Arabia.

As WND has reported, former FBI Islam expert John Guandolo has long warned that the federal government is being infiltrated by members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood. But Guandolo now warns that by appointing Brennan to CIA director, Obama has not only chosen a man “naïve” to these infiltrations, but also picked a candidate who is himself a Muslim.

“Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam when he served in an official capacity on the behalf of the United States in Saudi Arabia,” Guandolo told interviewer and radio host Tom Trento.

“That fact alone is not what is most disturbing,” Guandolo continued. “His conversion to Islam was the culmination of a counterintelligence operation against him to recruit him. The fact that foreign intelligence service operatives recruited Mr. Brennan when he was in a very sensitive and senior U.S. government position in a foreign country means that he either a traitor … [or] he has the inability to discern and understand how to walk in those kinds of environments, which makes him completely unfit to the be the director of Central Intelligence.”

Brennan did indeed serve as CIA station chief in Riyadh in the 1990s and today holds the official title of Deputy National Security Advisor for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism. On Jan. 7, Obama nominated Brennan as the next director of the CIA, though he has yet to be confirmed.

“Are you kidding me?” Trento balked at Guandolo’s allegations. “The head of the CIA is a Muslim? For real? … Are you sure?”

“Yes I am,” Guandolo asserted. “The facts of the matter are confirmed by U.S. government officials who were also in Saudi Arabia at the time that John Brennan was serving there and have direct knowledge. These are men who work in very trusted positions, they were direct witnesses to his growing relationship with the individuals who worked for the Saudi government and others and they witnessed his conversion to Islam.”

A former Marine and combat veteran, Guandolo worked for eight years in the FBI’s Counterterrorism Division as a “subject matter expert” in the Muslim Brotherhood and the global spread of Islamism. Guandolo boasts he created the Bureau’s first counterterrorism training/education program and twice received United States Attorney’s Awards for investigative intelligence.

Guandolo is also one of the authors of the Center for Security Policy’s Team B II report, “Shariah: The Threat to America.”

“My contention is that [Brennan] is wholly unfit for government service in any national security capacity, and that would specifically make him unfit to be the director of Central Intelligence,” Guandolo told Trento.

Guandolo then broke down a three-part argument against Brennan’s confirmation.

“The first is he has interwoven his life professionally and personally with individuals that we know are terrorists,” Guandolo asserted. “He has overseen and approved and encouraged others to bring known leaders of Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood into the government in positions to advise the U.S. government on counterterrorism strategy as well as the overall ‘war on terror.’”

Second, Guandolo asserted, Brennan has “proven through his own comments publicly that he is clueless and grossly ignorant of Al-Qaida’s strategy.

“Third and finally, which some would say is most disturbing, is Mr. Brennan did convert to Islam,” Guandolo said, but stressed, “I think the [larger] news is that that conversion is the culmination of the work of people in Saudi Arabia who worked for the Saudi Government – and that makes John Brennan just naïve, foolish, dangerously ignorant and totally unfit for this position.

“That in and of itself, again, shouldn’t be shocking to people,” Guandolo continued. “Mr. Brennan, they have the clip where he specifically says during a public address … he said during that speech that he has learned and gets his understanding and his ‘worldview’ in large part from Islam. It shouldn’t be a large leap to imagine he’s converted to Islam.”
