So I have left the anger stage, and now I am approaching this election with how each candidate's policies will affect MY family's lives. We know that any of these politicians will not listen to us and how any changes will affect us personally so we better know what we are getting before we vote or we could actually end up worse off than we are now. We are all so caught up in the moment of hype that we are not seeing we are being manipulated. For example, everyone is fighting against the datamining of our children in Common Core and the gathering of our personal information by the federal government yet the man who just won and has the most delegates used datamining and information collection to get every last vote to the polls. Cruz even had a caucus locator that required inputting of first name, last name, email address and zip code on his webpage - this is not all information required to look up your caucus site - it is being put into a system called Targeted GOTV.  Just go to Cruz's webpage and click on NH voting places and the link to Targeted GOTV is in blue at the bottom. These people are telling the subscribing candidates what we think based on analyzing our online footprint. They even told the candidates what minute into the debate to get their points across because of what hour each state stops watching and goes to bed:

So is Cruz really a brilliant candidate? And for everyone hating data collection on themselves and their families - why are you allowing this from Cruz? Even when he named a website to challenge Trump to a debate on Hannity, it just put your name and email into his databank - there was no petition to Trump. Cruz went so far as to use psychological studies to shame voters into going to the polls and refused to apologize for his methods. He has a voter registration form but the privacy page says the company can use the data you type. I thought it was illegal for candidates to register voters but I guess anything goes. The site doesn't seem to connect to the state's or county's election offices but wants to know if you are changing party, changing name or address and basically getting all of your personal information.

So if Cruz becomes president, will he listen or just stare into his crystal ball and pull out the computerized data that says we agree with his position on for example healthcare? If he believes in data collection to win, does he continue the trend when he becomes president?

This is just food for thought - this is just a warning to research each candidate and not assume. I did check Carson's page and he listed out every caucus site and address and also linked to the official state site to find your caucus. Trump's caucus finder required a zip code, street number and street name - he seems to have set up his own webpage and does have a privacy policy listed. Kasich linked to the Iowa Republican party webpage. I haven't tested the others.

So what do we want in a president - someone who thinks he knows what we will think and do before we do it or someone who listens and treats us like humans with ideas and solutions?

The crescendo from our candidates from outside the Washington DC beltway stunned the state of Iowa caucuses. Although a non politician didn't get the highest vote total he DID come in 2nd.

The amazing fact is that Ted Cruz, an anti-establishment Republican, WON, BIG TIME! And that's a good thing for We the People.

Cruz's post win speech was one for the history books. It might have laid the ground work for a landslide leading to the November national election.
