Have you watched the movie "Argo" ???? At the end of it, you can hear Jimmy Carter telling how successful he was in having the hostages returned..............as I recall, they were released Jan 21, 1981....the day AFTER Ronald Reagan was innaugurated.
The Ayatollah was astonished that the United States reaction to the hostage taking was as weak as it was.....it can be said that the crowning glory of the Carter Administration was to embolden the radical Muslim sects and to bring us to the place we occupy in the world today......YES, I DO blame Carter for 9/11.....his wimpy reaction to our embassy being taken put fuel on a fire that was just waiting for a bit of help!
Obama has replaced Carter as the worst president in US history....but not by much.
