On January 24th, 2011, the first ever National Pro-Life Youth Rally will be held in Washington, D.C. This rally will be held after the annual March for Life in D.C. that draws thousands every year. Youth are joining forces in increasing numbers to stand up and say, "It's enough!" We must be the generation that draws on the successes of those before us, trusts in the faithfulness and miracles of our Savior, and STOPS ABORTION. We have no excuse to let this curse continue in our nation. We have no excuse to let millions keep dying. We have no excuse to turn our backs. We cannot be silent. We must speak out, speak up, and speak loud (no matter what age we are)!

It's our responsibility to change this attitude. This is a responsibility we MUST shoulder and not shirk.

The following poem expresses the attitude of too many Americans for too long.

Death is all around me,

And still I do not see

What lives are being taken?

What souls are thrown to Hell?

Ambivalent to danger, Blinded to destruction,

Why would I change my world?

Why would I be scorned?

Men are falling there, Women dying over here

Where have the children gone? But why should I care?

Laughing with a frown, Uncomfortable inside,

Why should I take a stand? Why should I speak up?

Falling, falling to the ground, No one ever comes around

To see what could be done, To see what we must do.

Indifferent to the warring factions, Deaf to cries for help,

Why would I raise my hand? Or open up my mouth?

Shrug my shoulders, roll my eyes, I am not my brother’s keeper

This life is mine to live, And mine to help myself.
