DID WE ALL FORGET ABOUT THE GULF OIL SPILL??? OIL LADEN FISH TO THIRD WORLD PEOPLES!

hello, i was reading through the posts and noticed that even though the worst oil spill in the world was about 1 year old, it seems everybody has already forgotten about it! i had a blog on this site a year ago in which i talked about this very issue. first lets see what effect that you can see anywhere. if you go into any food store and carefully look through the sea food dept. for a label that says, gulf shrimp, you will probably not find one. they will say, asian shrimp, pacific shrimp, cold water shrimp, north east shrimp,alaskan shrimp,etc. where did all those companies go that were selling gulf shrimp??? compare the prices on the shrimp now and what they were a year ago. they are incomparably high. now, i just said shrimp. what about fish, oysters,other shell fish, etc.??? it is the same story. what about all those companies and their employees??? did you know that they are not telling you that virtually everything out of the gulf tastes like oil ?? so, where is that stuff going? third world countries..well, you did not think for one second that the us govt. was going to float the whole gulf economy for very long did you. here is an interesting side note that all of you conservative conservationists and ecology nuts will want to investigate to be sure that im not just plain lying to you. i am sure most of you have been watching the tv show where we have one small privately funded group of people running around trying to stop the japanese fishing industry from killing the rest of the whales thereby assuring extinction. and you hear all the other talk about all the other fishing that is wipeing out the marlin, sailfish,shark,sunfish, tuna, virtually anything large. do you really want to know WHY the u. s. govt. wont get involved???? this is generally unknown imfo. YOU    go to  YOUR   supermarket and go to the sea food dept. YOU    can buy all the shark marlin, tuna sailfih,etc. that   YOU can eat!!! well, where did  YOU think the U. S. gets..    YOUR fish from??? the moon??  the us doesnt own the companies, they are almost unanimously owned buy the japanese under the guise of third world fishing countries in south america. guess what, we eat a hell of a lot more sea food than japan. because there are a hell of a lot more of us. so, you tell me, how do we stop all this slight of hand lying and trickery??? there is only one answer and    YOU are not going to like it.  YOU should have this tatoed on   YOUR arm as a constant reminder.  I WILL NOT EAT ANY TYPE OF SEAFOOD!!!  This is exactly the point i want to make. everybody was so upset, we were going to make sure that this could never happen again. obama said he was personally going to make sure that it would never happen again. obama stopped issuing permits for deep well drilling last year and put a permanent moratorium on it. that was last year. this year obama went back on his solemn promise and now if you know or are the right people, you can get a permit to do deep well drilling in the gulf of mexico. well,i said this before and this whole forum proves my point. the rich and powerful 1 percent can keep bringing up new and different ways and problems to get everybody to forget about the recent past and try to address a new and seemingly larger problem like for instance the national debt problem. believe me when i say this. you are not privy to the information that will lead a path to the powerful people that manipulate the whole world. its invisible. its beyond any single groups power. but if we do not get side tracked and stick to one single issue like the whale wars people are doing, they just might be able to save some whales for our kids to view and study. or maybe start a group of people to get enough power to rid the gulf of oil rigs. probably isnt going to happen. so, i say, whatever your true love is, one, most important issue, focus on that thing and let some one else worry about the other issues. Remember this, united we stand, divided we fall. and that is precisely the GUN that the powerful use to control our every action.

Come to think of it, I certainly HAVE stopped eating seafood- except for Alaskan salmon... Good points, Charlie. And not to change the subject, have you seen any Hawaiian pineapple in your supermarket lately? It's all from Malasia or the Philippines...

Not I, I live on the Gulf  and still will not eat the crap... This was just the beginning of what the left in DC have planned, poison the food!
