I’d just like to respond to this guy’s last comment, what a jerk!! :

Hey, “Sonny” boy,

.....( this is how I will address you, because your comments reveal that you are of a younger, dumbed-down generation that doesn’t even have a clue about the free exchange of ideas, and the value, to your Liberty, of using cash. You must be of a generation that thinks that all wealth, and free market commerce depends on the latest gadget or technology, and that everything depends on the approval of the politically correct crowd that brought you politicians like Clinton, Lewinski, Kennedy and OBAMA. The latter is now pushing legislation that, if passed, will deny you healthcare if expedient and enforce your compliance with IRS GOONS.)

You need to have a long, sit down with your grandparents, who will tell you of a day and time when folks communicated only by mail, paid cash for everything they bought-no credit cards, and NO DEBT. There is something very liberating about that. Instead, your generation accepts the circumstance of a federal government out of control, seeking only power, and to mortgage your posterity (your future generations-your children and grandchildren) to the hilt, with more spending and taxes. Your generation is allowing a financial curse to be put on your own posterity!!

I am a proud donor to Real Conservatives, because I agree with its cause. I made this decision of my own free will, because I believe its still a ‘ Free Country’, a sentiment very seldom heard these days. ***Uncle Sam, I got your receipt and thank you for continuing to speak for us out here in the grassroots. You will have my continued support as long as your site represents my sentiments.

Besides, the concept of Real Conservatives, is pretty unique: Its like going to the theater, watching the movie, and if you liked it, pay something for it, so that the damned theater will be there the next time you want to go!!!!. Your generation doesn’t seem to understand the concept, FREE MARKET OF IDEAS, the way mine does.

You also don’t understand how cash works in a free market. It keeps things equal, and on the level. And anonymous. There is no Freedom without ECONOMIC FREEDOM. If you don’t believe that, go try to buy something with a checkbook (an I.O.U. pad). If you get any flack from the seller, come back with cash and see what happens!!!

“The power to tax is the power to destroy” is another phrase you seldom hear these days. Your generation doesn’t have a clue as to what that means. You should look into the alternative of the FAIR TAX, which taxes your purchases, not your income. Here’s a novel idea for you, Sonny: If you had the power to BOYCOTT goods and services that the government taxes, do you think the politicians would be more inclined to do your will? DO YOU THINK THAT THEN, YOU WOULD HAVE THEIR UN-DIVIDED ATTENTION? Right now, your grandparents have had to shoulder all the burden for you with these stupid town hall protests (I say stupid, because the politicians that host them are stupid, not the citizens that show up.) They should not have been necessary in the first place.

Anyway, Sonny, consult with your grandparents. Or get back to me in a few years, after you’ve grown up!!!! Don’t answer this, because, even though it appears that Uncle Sam gave you the last word, your lame reply reveals you didn’t understand the message. I love the OLDIES!!!!!! I grew up on the 50's & 60's music and some 70's. I long for a simpler time!!! I wish I had been a teenager in the 40's or 50's!!! America and America's children need to regain our innocence!!!! Great post!!!! Thanks!!

What set this off was I sent a donation to the author of this amazing site and some geek started criticizing it! So that was my answer to him. you'll find the original context off the support tab-passing the hat. The guy left the site, I guess, because he was embarrassed. But he definitley was someone who wasn't thinking too straight. A little too PC for me, and I just had had enough!! So I sounded off!!

I should would like to see the comment that set this blog off. lol Love the odies video. Those truly were the days.

You know, our youth have been brainwashed. The government took over the public schools and left out most of the real history of our country and our way of life that was set by our constitution that our founding fathers created.

When I went to school, every morning we said the pledge of alligence to the flag and the Lords Prayer. We were taught about "The Constitution for the United States of America" and our Bill or Rights.

I do have to say though, that many parents of the past couple of decades, in their attemp to give their children more than they had, have added to our present youths attitudes "that thinks that all wealth, and free market commerce depends on the latest gadget or technology".

The government mandates that required all children to be "vaccinated" in order to attend school, has also contributed to the problems of our youth. These vaccines have created mental problems such as Autism and ADHD and more.

Television programming has also contributed to our present youths attitudes, by design, planned in order to create a culture of "anything goes" and you "need to have this" in order to be cool.

America is in deep trouble now because we did not understand what I government was doing for decades to our youth, programming them to be "progressive". Allowing drugs into our country to dope up our youth and made many of them useless in "fighting back" the government's plan to take over America. Now some of the brainwashed and program youths of generation back are running our country today.

So, I understand the anger toward the "jerks" that are our children of today. Sometimes I want to just smack them myself. But it is our government that deserves all of our anger. I just hope that our waking up to what the "elitist" plans are, is not been too late to take back our country and the training and molding of our youth.

Let’s not be too harsh on ALL the youth! Ironically, just before coming here I ran across this posting at a petition site that deserves our review. It puts back a level of hope that America will make it after all. I agree 100% with your comments, but I also find it refreshing to see REAL hope in action, and that all is not lost!

We will always come back for more and each time we will take a huge chunk of Obama's credibility with us and leave him to crumble. He's trying to ruin the American people by targeting us. That sacred mistake will be his downfall, but only if we take advantage of it. Show them we are not manufactured, but unique. Show them we are not being paid, but we are filled with passion and concern for our country. Show Obama what true Americans are made of. We won't stand for this, we will stand against it. We are the American people and we will not be silenced.

Way to go Morgan! This is so fantastic to see that not all of America’s youth has been brainwashed. Way too many kids are so wrapped up into themselves, and their material things like ipods, cell phones with texting, and every other toy this generation has been given. These are all good things, but when these things, and other fun activities are placed ahead of ones freedoms, you will soon have neither. For these things are actually rewards of good responsibility, and should never be treated as a right to have them. To have freedom requires a good sense of responsibility. And if we parents have failed this generation then it was when we left our youth’s teachings of responsibility to the liberal education system, which made liberal mush of our kid’s brains. Trust me when I tell you that the teachings of today have omitted American pride and values from its curriculum. Don’t be to hard on the parents for they didn’t see it coming, and it is true, a parent wants more for their children then they had in life. The problems came when the parents trusted too much resulting in society actually taking our freedoms of teaching our offspring our beliefs, but have imposed today’s liberal values (or lack there of). If America is to survive it will take the youth of this country coming forth to save it. Don’t be intimidated, stand tall with American pride (it’s not hokey) and never fail your country, for if you do, it will fail you. (Just as my Woodstock Generation has failed). Rally the youth and save America and the freedoms that came with it. What do you think Obama is trying to do with his National Youth Groups, resist them and save other kids from being tricked into service. This is not service to America, rather its service to the Messiah Obama and Socialism!

Great video, John. Back in the days when we could still understand all the words- not the muffled insane garbage that passes for music today.
