PRAYER FOR OUR NATION

Father, we come before you and humbly ask that you forgive us of our sins and that you forgive us as a people for turning our backs on you over the years and allowing our lights to slowly grow dim and allowing darkness to cover our land.

We have fallen short, the Church has grown lazy and selfish. We weren't praying and fighting for righteous and holiness sake but, we're more concerned with our own worldly gains. For this we are paying the price but yet Father, many of us still point our fingers at others and try and put the blame elsewhere. Your Word said in Matthew, "You hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of your own eye; and then shall you see clearly to cast out the mote out of your brother's eye".

I pray Father that we come to your Call in 2 Chron 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

It is not your Will Father that you destroy this land but our will when we do not do as you have required of us. Father, time is nothing for you, the days are numbered but you are the one that does the numbers and controls time. This Nation can be saved and restored if we do what is pleasing in your sight.

Father, I pray for your Grace to instill upon each believer in Christ Jesus to repent and do as you require so that you may heal our land in Jesus precious name, Amen.

To God be the Glory, Honor and Power for ever and ever, Amen.

You so understand what is going on in America today. All of us are quilty of this. All of us know now the material things, aren't what is important. All of us are praying to God to see fit to save our nation. I not only do this every day, I sent the angels from heaven to help us in the White House. I believe in angels, I lived in a Catholic run school until I was 8 years old. The nuns loved me and took great care of me. They taught me by example, I only wished I followed. I'am following now, they are now looking over us from heaven. I believe they will help us!

I also pray for our nation every day. I believe many are turning back to God. Americans are uniting like they haven't done in a long time. We need to humble ourselves, and seek God and his direction for our country. He will hear us when we earnestly seek him.

Dear Servants of the Lord:

The Lord has placed in my heart to ask all people to Fast and Pray for the Unity of our Nation and to preserve the God given rights we are assured through the U.S. Constitution.
We invite you to participate in a special call to Fast and Pray on the 1st and 15th days of each
month for Revival according to 2 Chron 7:14 for our Nation, People and the State of Israel.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. [2 Chron 7:14]


This is in no way to supersede the regularly observed fasts of any faith.

The Fast and Prayer Day will be observed as follows:
• From sunset on the last day of each month to sunset on the 1st.
• From sunset on the 14th day to sunset on the 15th day of the month.

Please remember to always check with your physician prior to beginning a food fast if you
have any medical conditions or concerns.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. [EPH 6:12]

Thank you so much for this prayer, I will not forget the part "and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land", I will be showing this to my children today. This is very important what you just gave us. On this day of 9/11 remembering the past and being very sad, we have to remember why our world is changing, this prayer tell all. Thank you!

I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church. I remember the wonder as well as the fear of eternal punishment for whatever sins I committed. There were confessions and pennances.....it was an issue of guilt and insecurity.

As I grew, mentally and spiritually, I became familiar with the Lord. He cared nothing for cathedrals adorned with gold and crystal, filled with the scent of frankensence, the sound of pius hymns, the soft chime of the bells during the elevation of the Body and Blood of Christ. He was born to a carpenter and his young wife.....He was heralded by legions of angels but was raised as a simple man. He was taught and taught back. His message was of love and forgiveness and he was not recognized by those He was presented to.

His people expected a powerful military leader who would punish those not of the faith of the chosen people by destroying them. God sent a Lamb...one with a message of love and forgiveness rather than a message of vengence.

There were times in my life that I doubted, I questioned and challenged. Times when I was angry and times when I felt nothing other than a yearning for truth, times when I turned away after challenging God to convince me that all I'd been taught was true.

Through all of these stages,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I still prayed, for guidence, for forgiveness, for the grace to continue.

I saw things happening in what I had been told and convinced was THE ONE TRUE Church, the ONE path to everlasting peace or eternal damnation. I heard of children who were assaulted by priests, of those same priests who were quietly moved to another parish and enabled to continue their evil by the Bishops and Cardinals of 'The Church' and when their behavior caught up with them, watched what I had been told was 'The One True Church' pay enormous sums of money to attone for the evil wrought by these supposed 'men of God'.

Today there are public persons who profess to be 'devout Catholics' defending the slaughter of the unborn innocent babies who simply had the audacity to be concieved at a time that was inconvenient for the mother and/or the father.

We are told that 'IT' is just a nonviable 'tissue mass' and that 'IT' will not feel any pain. The polititians who support a woman's 'RIGHT TO CHOOSE' attend Mass, recieve the Eucharist, and are given a 'pass' from the officials of the Church.

The likes of Pelosi, Kennedy, Kerry et al are nothing more than 'whited sepulchures' who hold corruption in their hearts but have been given a pass by their priests and bishops.

I look at the way we have rationalized our behavior and all think we will gain God's good will and grace if we repent on our death beds. "Say only the word and I shall be healed".

As a former labor and delivery nurse,
I have held tiny, 24+ week old BABIES in my hands and watched them fight to survive, to gasp for the air they could pull into their underdeveloped lungs.....let me tell all of you...........these kids fought like tigers just to LIVE. To hold a 1 lb baby trying to survive is to see the face of God. It gets us past any illusions the 'pro-choice' gang tries to push off on us.

As A Mom, I know the feeling of that first 'flutter'............when you know that you have been blessed with the gift of creating a life. I know the joy of holding my baby in my arms, of meeting her [then him] and looking into their eyes. Of meeting, for the first time this new little person who God has entrusted to me.

As a grandmother, The emotion felt when holding my first grandaughter in my arms, when she looked into my eyes and said, [in so many unspoken words] "Hi, Nana, I'm the way you will continue, I'm your immortality,
I'm your gift from your Creator".

In my heart I have made my peace with my God. I speak with Him Daily, as I would speak with my Father.He always answers, not always the answer I hope for but always the CORRECT answer.

The most difficult words to say and MEAN when praying are 'Thy will be done'.

We need to talk to God as we would speak to a trusted parent. We need to trust Him. We need to be quiet enough to hear His answer.

I truly believe that He will take care of those who put their fate in His hands if we speak with all honesty and trust Him.
