David Obey [d-Wisconsin--one of the dinosauers of congress] announced that he is retiring. Obey is Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee........one of the MOST lofty positions in the House. He is being challenged by a young conservative from the northern part of the state and the polls were not looking good for our long time congressman.
Perhaps the left is not planning true 'victory' celebrations but preplanning a funeral for the demise of the radical left.
