Do You all remember what it was like? Everything was SO IMPORTANT! So VIVID! If we weren't able to resolve wahtever "it" was the entire world would come to a screaching halt..............For the first time in more years than I can count I would love to go back to those years [knowing what I know now] that ALL of the things I thought to be earth-shattering would never even cause a minor tremor.....to be able to simply LIVE those times knowing that the stuff mattered little if anything at all. I know now that each and every day must be savored and that the lesson of each day must be studied and pondered and slept with to decide if it is, indeed, worthy of intense scrutiny and worry or should simply be released and sent to God because He will decide the best way to deal with it.
Funny..............all of the lessons and challenges I meet with these days, I seem to have the same answer.....................give it to God. Why ever did I think I could come up with an answer? Silly Human!

Did anyone else notice that music is the 'universal language' in all of these songs. We LOVED this music and it didn't make one bit of difference what the race of the artist was! We learned all the words [and never worried about having our mouths washed out with soap] and sometimes felt that they spoke just to us about our new love or a broken heart or whatever was happening in our lives.

I agree, Richard, music WAS still music all those years ago but I suppose our parents felt the same way about their music compared with ours.
